      Don't buy one of their trees. Our tree was flocked but two very different colors. We asked for help and were told over and over that it was the lights. It was not. Then two weeks later we received 2 strands of lights in the mail. Customer service was terrible. They are not interested in helping you. I would give them zero stars if I could.

      Having the same issue with the switch. Very disappointing as we spent close to $500 on this tree thinking we were going to have it for years to come. We liked the color changing option and now we aren't able to do so.

      Obviously after reading these reviews I wish that I had read them before purchasing the Energy Smart 150 LED light string from ****** (rhymes with rows if the name is deleted) It comes with a 5 year warranty. Tried to return to ***** but was told Christmas Eve was the last day they accepted Christmas returns. The string of lights had about 10 bulbs not working and the rest of the string was so dim as to not be visible at full dark. The string did come with 2 extra bulbs so I tried replacing bulbs one at a time to find the defective bulbs. One can actually buy replacement bulbs for $5 each. Hmm. At that price the string is worth $750. Just for the bulbs. What a deal. The subsidiary of ** that handles this product says they will replace or repair the string if I pay to send it to them. Return shipping is free.

      Every year I have assembled this tree other than when I initially bought it, there have been problems. The only benefit was the second year I put it up, it was a few days shy of still being under warranty. So they replaced the strand of lights that was already out. This year the foot pedal doesn’t work and they don’t sell replacement parts. Garbage company.

      GE - Nicolas Holiday GARBAGE prelit christmas tree. I bought it 3 years ago for $500.00 from **** *****. The last two years it's been shorting flashing white. It corrected itself the 2nd year but this year I called Nicolas Holiday and explained the issue to someone who couldn't repeat the phone number back, put me on hold for 10 minutes and then said I should go out and buy another tree. Rude, nasty and awful. I truly wish I spent my money elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE.

      Can’t get replacement foot switch for a brand new tree. Customer service is awful. I love the tree, hate the company and their service. It’s disgusting I can’t even purchase a replacement foot switch for my tree.

      Nicolas Holiday is a terrible company. When talking to the service reps about a warranty part for my Christmas tree, I can tell I am calling long distance and the people sound like they are talking with marbles in their mouth. I sent the company my warranty registration card, which of course they cant find. I can't register the Christmas tree on line because I don't have a receipt or a serial number. The serial number is with the registration card I sent in. This whole matter has gone full circle. And from looking at the other complaints people wrote about, it is the same issue and no one is doing anything about it. ****

      I have a Pre-Lit Christmas Tree, ***** ***** # 848170, Nicholas Model # 17112LO. I purchased it from ****** in 2020, and set it up for Christmas that year. I though what a cool idea using 3 sections that are powered by one pedal. Well, my eagerness was short lived. After setting it up, added the garland, reflective ornaments, tinsel, the moment was short lived. Hit the switch and the upper third remained dark. After an exhaustive search, found a fuse lit out? Replaced it to no avail, so I just added another strand I have for the Holiday. This week, 11/25/2022 pulled it out of storage, set it up and nothing. Upon close inspection there was at least 30 bulbs that were dark. I then proceeded to cut off all the lights (3/hours) and installed 4 sets of my own lights. I think the power through the center and having 3 sections is a great idea. USING CRAPPY LIGHTS AND INSTALLING THEM WITH CONSTANT TURNS, CLIPS, AND TIGHT AREAS IS A VERY POOR IDEA. Why engineer something and then install a cheap motor. I will return all the bulbs and strings just for their information. Nobody should have to have such a catastrophic failure on such an item.

      I purchased a pre lite tree from *******  Three of the four bottom branches are broken and just hang, one of the large light balls has a brown spot and the cords are a tangled mess. I first called and was told they would send me rivets..rivets, what the heck? I then took photos and filled out there online form as asked. I received an automated reply notifying me that I would receive a reply within 3 days, that was on the 18th of October. I then sent an additional message asking what was going on and still nothing. I left a review on Lowes website on the 30th of October and Nicolas Holiday replied. I was thrilled as I REALLY wanted this tree! I filled out the form AGAIN as instructed on the review and no surprise here, still no reply. I loaded the tree into my MINI Cooper and returned it to Lowes on the 6th of November. You would think that a company would take more pride in their product. If you got a good one, then lucky you. I will be dreaming of this tree come Christmas. Worst customer service EVER!

      Tried to contact support via email about their LED light strings not syncing. I got one response requesting a photo of the item number. Sent that to them less than an hour after they responded. I've sent 3 follow-up emails and have yet to hear back. I would have returned these if they weren't strung up on my house already. They're nice lights but the lack of customer support is a deal-breaker for any future light purchases.
