We purchased a new 2024 ***** ****** ********** fifth wheel camper on January 13, 2024, from Camper's Inn in ****** **. In that time, we have had numerous problems that have needed to be fixed, including replacing lights and now the air conditioner! Before we even went on our first camping trip, the camper had to be brought back to the dealer for repairs. Since we bought the camper, the dealership has now closed, and has re-opened as a strictly *** ****** dealer. For our most recent problems we had to drive 3 hours away to ******** **, for repairs to be made at that Camper's Inn dealership. We are beyond frustrated. We should have no problems considering the amount of money we paid to buy a NEW camper. And by all accounts, ***** ****** is one of the most reputable, reliable RV companies. We believe that Camper's Inn of ****** ** knowing sold us a bad camper, one that never should have been sold. Thank you for looking into this matter.Business response

We have received your letter dated 08/06/24 regarding the complaint from J*** *** ***** ******** concerning the 2024 ***** ****** Fifth Wheel Camper purchased from our ****** ** location.
Please be assured that we take this matter seriously and have investigated the details of the complaint.
Our records indicate John & Emily Richards took delivery of the 2024 ***** ****** ********** 5th Wheel on Feb 3, 2024. The customer signed Demonstration Sign off Sheet(Document A) indicating the customer acknowledged possession was taken in a fully functional state. There were no notations or repair orders opened on that date.On February 23rd 2024 we show a repair order(Document B1 and B2) opened by the Richards for five minor items, two of which we were unable to duplicate. The items repaired are as follows:
A light switch became inoperable – the part was ordered and shipped to the customer.
A slide out seal come loose from the window as the slide was opening – we reinstalled the window seal correctly around the window.
Couch not properly mounted to floor – A screw was missing so we installed the missing screw.Separately, and on the same date, there was a ticket(Document C) opened for an additional set of keys.
This is the last time that anyone at the ** dealership had heard from the Richards.
We would also like to emphasize that our dealership in ****** ** continues to provide factory warranty services for all previously sold RV brands and models, regardless of our recent transition to ********* ** ******** *** *******. The client unfortunately must have assumed and not called, which could have avoided this situation.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and hopefully this will resolve the case.
Please reach out to me with any questions.
Sincerely,Stephen K****/ Regional Operation Director

It is my belief that this complaint should be removed in its entirety. Had the ********** made an effort to call the ** store, rather than assuming, this situation could have been avoided.
Thank you,

March 16, 2023, I purchased a ****** ***** ****** $78,000. Only to find myself, 4 months into owning a *** *** ***** ****** RV that has incurred many major issues including 3 areas on the roof that have leaked (skylight in hall, skylight into the bathroom, and solar panel in the kitchen) that have been “repaired”, being without a fully functioning refrigerator for almost 5 weeks, water heater/propane tank issue, multiple lock/latch issues, and a battery unable to sustain or achieve fully charged due to it being set to lithium but being provided a lead acid which was not what the manager told me I was receiving. My RV has had several smaller issues as well which has required many hours of research, customer service contact, and unavailable for me to use due to being in the shop for one quarter of the time that I have used it. Last night, we experienced the 5th leak incident in the kitchen after many repairs to my roof that have been completed by their service department. As we all know, when a unit has a leak, it compromises the integrity of the unit never mind having 3 leaking areas on the roof and 5 active leak occurrences in just 4 months. I have been in contact with Camper's Inn multiple times a week for several months now beginning just a few days after the purchase. Camper's Inn continues to evade submitting the paperwork properly to ***** ****** on any of the roof work or issues that I am experiencing, therefore leaving me with no course of action and a faulty roof on my unit. I have owned my unit for 4 months but due to the repeated repairs, I have only had possession of this RV for a 3/4 of the time leaving me paying for a site at a campground without having access to my unit. Camper's Inn is not providing the level of service that they quote as their mission.Business response

We are in communication with the the customer and the manufacturer to resolve the issues. The customer is in direct contact with the manufacturer and has an appointment for a technician to do a road call to the camper. Once the technician is able to diagnose the issues, Campers Inn and the manufacturer will be in communication to make sure the customer is satisfied with the agreed corrective action.Initial Complaint

I bought a fifth wheel march 23 2022. We settled on price and got the loan. Before receiving the camper the dealer damaged the front cap, flooded the front compartment, gouged the foot board of the bed and also the compartment doors are all loose. The dealer said the cap would be fixed and doors would be replaced. The cap was worked on but never finished, as for the doors they replaced 3 but never finished installation (replacement was worse than original). As for the bed and flooded compartment the response was “it will do more damage to fix then to leave as is.” After 4 months nothing was completed and they told me to take camper home. I refused. An argument over this took place. They said take or get lawyer. That’s when I found a hole in my living room floor. I was told ‘ You need to expect theses things in an rv.” And they won’t fix that either. I do have a lawyer now and have for 9 months they disregard him as much as me. They refuse to give me my full payment back. I recommend no one deal with campers inn
