Terrible customer service. Purchased a vehicle from this place last month. Drove the car for 1 week, 6 codes cluster not lighting up. Back and forth from ********** ** *********** 4 times, wasting my time, and my money for fuel in 2 vehicles and Uber Twice. The owner tells me that’s not too far. To make matters worse they still have the vehicle for a catalytic converter code, and cannot get it through emissions. Grant it they replaced it the first time with an aftermarket catalytic converter. The code came back on, and when I told them that they said it was impossible. They just put a new converter on the car! This place has no respect for peoples time or business! They will put you on the back burner like they did me. I am extremely disappointed by the customer service, by the way, my car is still sitting in the parking lot which they told me to come pick up that I could still drive it. I can’t afford to keep running back and fourth to Wallingford for a car that still needs to be repaired. I deem it their responsibility to get it through emissions, I am not being compensated for my time, nor my fuel, or the cost to get back home after dropping off the vehicle, or the fact that now I have to rent a vehicle because the vehicle that I purchased from Cheap Auto rental will not pass emissions. Fix the vehicle, get it through emissions, then allow me to pick it up! Before the car is sold, once a deposit is placed on the vehicle all of these issues should’ve been addressed before allowing the customer to drive off with it. I put my trust into what this business advertised online but I guess once they close a deal the integrity goes out the window. Absolutely unacceptable! *******

You purchased the car knowing that it was going to be due for emissions. It's a $3,488 car with 199,000 miles. I purchased a replacement catalytic converter in good faith. It's no good. I have ordered another one and will return the first one when I get this one. The car is perfectly driveable in the meantime. You have chosen to leave it here until I have the second replacement cat installed and have gotten it through emissions. I am fulfilling my obligations under the very precisely and explicitly worded warranty in good faith and as quickly as possible. This is a cheapo buy here pay here financed 15 year old car with nearly 200k, not a new *********

Ok. So you trying to re use a catalytic converter is legal? Per the EPA THIS IS ILLEGAL! You’re selling cars to people knowing they won’t pass emissions. I will follow through with pushing this complaint through the better business bureau, the EPA for your illegal actions, and also the department of motor vehicles. You’re gaslighting your customers! Just off of your responses alone on all of your negative reviews, it’s almost comical! It would be different if it was an honest mistake but you’re literally pushing cars out from the auction that you’re not even inspecting. You have a real scam going on over there and someone needs to put a microscope on the scam of a used car dealer you are running. If you put a used catalytic converter on my car just to push it through omissions believe me the EPA will be notified. Fair warning

Honestly never buy a car from theses people because I bought a car from them had problems with the car the whole time I had it. I replaced a battery. Alternator, tires you name it. This was a car that I was told would get me and my kid around safely that there was nothing wrong with the car at all. I’m upset because here I wasted a lot of money buying the car and putting money into the car just to say something is not free. I had the car for 6 weeks I should have not had no problems with the car unless there was something really wrong with it. You guys basically cleared the check engine light just for it to come back on when I left the place. I want a refund for this car or I’m taking it to court with all the paperwork from all the spending I had to do. This place is a scam they do not care about there customers.

******** *ou purchased the car with 115,895 miles on it. Two months later you did a voluntary repossession of the car with 123,459 miles on it, so you drove 7,654 miles. We had just taken the car through CT state emissions before you bought it. The car had a 30 day, fifteen hundred mile warranty. You never came in with any complaints during the warranty period. Whoever you had replace the alternator did not tighten the connection on the alternator, and left a connection loose at the replacement battery terminal end. They did not tighten the alternator bolts so the alternator was about to fall out of the car and the belt was slipping and squealing. The alternator will not charge if it isn't attached to anything and it won't charge properly with the belt slipping. This was YOUR mechanic.. You never made any of the four bi-weekly payments that were due, you stole the Battery out of the car, and you left it looking like half the Russian Army celebrated their last payday in it. You do not win the Good House Keeping seal of approval. I asked you repeatedly if you wanted me to pick the car up and check it out and you refused. This was a 45 minute repair including waiting for a Battery to come from down the street. You never made even the slightest effort to make a payment on this vehicle.

Crook and steals money, sells junks for cars worst experience ever

I am making a good faith attempt to repair the vehicle. I have obtained a replacement cylinder head, will send it to the machine shop to be checked Monday and then will install it as expediently as possible, hopefully by mid week. I am selling older used cars. Things go wrong with them. That is why I give a warranty and repair them. Its a relatively inexpensive 17 year old car. I will fix it.

I had an awful experience at this location. I rented a used vehicle for 1 week. The day I got it. The car shut off twice while I was driving at high speeds. The wheel locked and I was unable to steer the vehicle. The next day I tried to return the vehicle and the vehicle would not start. I contacted the owner, named Lou, and he was unwilling to refund me the money and I hadn’t had the vehicle for a full day. In addition to this, I put a full tank of gas in the vehicle with the intent that I’d have it for a week. It was an awful experience. The owner was very rude and inappropriate and refused to be fair and refund me my money

I gave you a $20 gas credit, which should be more than the amount of gas that you put in the car and didn't use. You drove the car 68 miles. You called and said that the car wouldn't start and that it we needed to pick it up. When I told you that I would only discuss credit after I had checked out the car, It miraculously started and you drove it in in record time. I restarted the car 5 times in front of you. I drove the car to ********** and back Sunday without incident. You didn't like the car and were complaining before you even left with it. Some people need to go to ***** ** ********** and pay more for a newer car. I rent OLD used cars. They are not good enough for some people. They are great and save money for others. A lot of it comes down to attitude and expectations.
