I had a leak going through my ceiling which caused some damage. Reached out to Mr. Gonzalez wife as she books the appointment. Mr Gonzalez came by on October 25th to look at the issue. After cutting part of the ceiling he informed me the job will be $500. He tighten something in the bathroom and said that’s what the issue was. On November 1st the leak still persisted which I took photos and sent to Mr. Gonzalez wife. He came over and had to cut a larger portion of the ceiling and said that it’s a bigger job and he will need to charge an additional $500 as the leak was coming through the piping and he had to replace it. On November 5th he came to the house and started working on the issue. On November 8th I had to send a message as the bathtub was not holding water. He forgot to add an equipment to it and had to come back on the 9th to fix it. Part of the agreement was to repair the ceiling, compound, sand and repaint. Mr. Gonzalez stopped by on November 12th to apply a second coat to the paint at which point I informed him The job was not done to my liking: there were lines, bumps and used a gloss paint instead of matte paint. He at that point informed me that I needed to make some form of payment to continue and that the contractor will come by on November 14th to fix the job. No one showed up and I messaged Mr. Gonzalez on the 16th informing him of the no show. He in turn responded that he will not be coming back and that I needed to find someone else to do the job. I paid him $800 out of the $1000 for him in return to tell me he will not complete the job that was agreed upon.
