On Friday Augist 4th my 2019 GMC ******* broke down while driving. I had it towed to Warertown Buick GMC. Upon inspection they found a faulty vacuum pump which caused major damage to my engine. They has to replace major engine components (vacuum pump, camshaft, valve cover, etc.) I was lucky that this is a known GMC issue and was covered under an extended warranty. I pickup up the vehicle Aug 12. On August 25 I noticed oil leaking from the vehicle and contacted the dealership for guidance. I was told to monitor oil level and bring vehicle in on Aug 30. I dropped the vehicle off and was contacted by the dealer the same day. They state that my turbo oil and coolant lines are leaking. They stayed that this was not touched during the previous repair. I have in writing that they did mess with at least one of these lines during the previous engine repair. Before my vehicle broke down I never had a leak. Now all of a sudden after a major engine repair I have a oil and coolant line leak from a major engine part (turbo). They quoted me $1135 to replace those lines and check the turbo. I believe these leaks were caused by all the movement of the lines from the previous engine repair causing them the leak. The service advisor even mentioned that in his experience, if the lines are moved in any way they will likely leak. I want the dealership to do the right thing and fix the issue they have caused. Thank you.

I contacted Mr ***** and discussed the issues that were causing his leak. We were able to offer him a discounted price that delighted him since he was aware he would need new lines on the vehicle, he did feel though that we may have accelerated that process. In the end, the consumer received a great value for the service his vehicle required. I attached the repair order showing the completion of the repair.

Mr. ****** inquired on the 2019 ****** ********** VIN *****************. The price was lowered from 33,184 to 31,023. Due to the way the inventory is polled by the different website providers, ********* published the updated price before the Buick GMC Website provided by ****** updated the price. Mr. ****** contacted our BDC team who advised the internet price on our website, and went back to management in the store to check if there was a price update. Management confirmed the price update, and the BDC team contacted Mr. ****** with the updated price of $31023 that had not yet reflected on the Buick GMC of ********* ****** website. Mr. ****** booked an appointment for the following day and was told that the price of $31,023 plus taxes and fees would be the vehicles price should he choose to buy it. The next day on 11/10/22 He came into the store and decided to purchase and take delivery of the 2019 ****** ********** at the price of $31,023 plus taxes and fees.

Mr. ****** also said he would remove the BBB complaint. We consider this case resolved. Should there be any further questions please feel free to contact me directly.

      Thank You,
