On 4/15/24, I went to pick up a pre-paid package from the *** Store. When I tried to get my package, they informed me that I needed to pay them $50. The employees said this was the store policy if they receive and sign for a package. I questioned them on this and they immediately started to scold me that "I should have known that was the policy". I asked to physically see the policy in writing or on the website and they got even more rude. There is nothing they could produce in writing that signing for a package is a fee, let alone $50. I asked to speak with the Manager, they said she wasn't there and the best I can do is email the general store mailbox. I called *** Corporate and they stated the Store is solely responsible for this. I believe is this partially extortion, forcing someone to pay (what they feel they can charge) to release someone else's property. Not to mention price gauging. $50 to sign and hold something for 4 hours is not $50 in fair market values.

On August 24, 2021, my daughter and I encountered a series of issues with the UPS store owner/manager Dan B*******. It begin initially on May 17 when he/his team picked up her personal/business belongings to store for spring break until August 24, 2021 from a local college per email conversation. Upon her return he advised she had an additional payment of $95 for delivery since she was not on campus on a planned date the store did for August 13th. This was not her fault and the school verified her return date was not until 8/24 for her assigned room was to be on this date. Additional payment was not the agreement for it was paid for pick up/delivery. To avoid further delay additional $95 was paid. Per paid invoice items to return were 5 boxes, 4 suitcases, 1 large bin, miscellaneous items broom/mop/pillows, etc, Upon delivery days later (Aug. 30th at 2:39 pm) 2 large luggage (large Black/white checkered& solid black pieces were missing. UPS declined our numerous emails/calls to date.
