I had oil delivery and annual service plan with Apple Oil company. Right after the 1/3/22 annual tune-up, I had no heat on 3/26/2022. Apple oil replaced ****** Logic Board, I paid $504. On 4/6/2022,I purchased $800.84 of oil from Apple Oil On 7/1/2022, the A/C can't be turned on. I paid Apple Oil $302.03 to fix my A/C on 6/30/2021 and install a new Turbo Capacitor/wire. The technician said the reason is that wire/isolation relay wasn't properly fixed by previous technician, which caused damages in A/C. Couple weeks later, A/C stopped. They said the board was burned due to improper wire. The technician Ken will come back to fix their technical problems. On 10/4/2022 , the technician failed to fix due to they forget to install the isolation relay part was identified on 3/26/22, which caused the board burned. He promised to order another ****** circuit board. However, he was very upset, rude and screaming "****** ***** *** ***** "it's the last technician made the ******* mess, not me!!! Do not blame me". I begged him to fix the problem as winter cold weather is coming. And calmly mention that isn't he sent by Apple Oil to fix the previous guy's mistakes?" He slammed the door and left. I was very upset by their service, and wrote ****** Review. On 10/12/2022, another technician came and told me he ordered a very old model that was used in the 70's, obsolete, no longer in use in 2020's. I can't trust to use an obsolete version of parts. If it's broken, it will be more difficult to purchase/replace them. I asked him to order the most compatible/new version or the board I bought last year. Since then Apple Oil refused to service me and give back the new ****** board I purchased. They asked me to use another heat or cooling company instead. I am horribly dismayed by Apple Oil's gross negligence and aggressive technics to cause stress and disruption to consumer's wellbeing, safety. We've left in icy cold and scorching heat weather in these 2 years. **** ****

After the other servicemen refused to go back to her house, we sent Bruce our 73 year old Service tech with over 50 years experience and the highest HVAC license S1.  Bruce arrived at the house at 10am and he had no answer we called and she said she will be home at 12pm.  We waited until 12pm and then garage door opened.  She was home the whole time.  Regardless, she proceeded to tell Bruce what needed to be done and if he could not do what she wanted, then leave.  Bruce explained we have a fan limit switch that will resolve her problem once and for all.  She refused to have the work done and he left and came back to the office very upset. We now have no other techs that want to go to her house to repair the problem.  As of today Mrs. **** has no change and no money due to our company.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because the business is twisting the truth.  I have clearly told Apple Oil that I'm only available after 12PM.  I need concentration on my work and usually do not anticipate visitors before 12pm.  The technician should have call me, text me, or ring my door bell. When I went out at 12pm, he still sit in his car surfing his phone.

And he told me he ordered a part, a very obsolete model that was used in the 70's, obsolete, no longer in use in 2020's.  I don't trust to use an obsolete version of parts.  If it's broken, it will be more difficult to purchase/replace them. So I asked him to simply purchase my old ****** circuit board model.  He also removed my ****** Circuit Board that I purchased in March 2022 for $504.

I checked I have paid $3,277 in 2021 and $1,305 in 2022 to the business, and $2,053 in 2020. Have I accumulated enough credit for the business to honor their promise to install a simple circuit control panel?

He hasn't come back for several weeks. I contacted the business. The business said they won't come back to fix my ****** Control Board problem. I asked to get my board back. He said the owner is on vacation last week and will call me on Monday. Again, no response from them.  I called them today.  The lady said she will have the owner call me back. But still I haven't received any phone call yet.

I would like the business to purchase a ****** Control board is the same as what I purchased on 3/29/2022.  And return to me.

FYI, beginning this year, the technician also trying to install a used/burned board to my furnace. I had to reject it and ask them to replace a new one which I paid for.

The following is what I sent to the business:

      Hi *****,

Your technician came to fix A/C problem and wire the new ****** control circuit board last Tuesday 10/4/2022. Again, he said the A/C or heat could not be turned on due to improper wire of the board properly since the isolation relay part was still missing from 3/26/22, which caused the board burned.   He needed to order another ****** circuit board

He was very upset, rude and screaming "****** ***** *** ***** "it's the last technician made the ******* mess, not me!!! Do not blame me".   I begged him to fix the problem as winter cold weather is coming.  And calmly mention that isn't he sent by Apple Oil to fix the previous guy's mistakes?" He slammed the door and left.

Yesterday another technician came and told me he ordered a very old model that was used in the 70's, obsolete, no longer in use in 2020's.  He claimed it will be bulletproof since it is not modernized?  I don't trust to use an obsolete version of parts.  If it's broken, it will be more difficult to purchase/replace them.  There's a reason they were retired and upgraded to the new digital/ electronic version.

I asked him to order the most compatible/new version or the board I used last year, which lasted several years without glitches.

Please order a recent version of the ****** Furnace control circuit board, and fix the issue.  Please respond to me at your earliest convenience.

      Thank you very much,

      **** ****

      Sincerely,

After investigating more with our service technician, Bruce K****** S-1, he found two used packages by the furnace from a ***** control board.  He assumed they were left by another company since we only started servicing Mrs **** this year.  We know a new board does not work on Mrs **** furnace we offered to fix the problem (see previous letter) but Mrs. **** refused.  Mrs **** has canceled her account with Apple Oil and their is no monies due.

      Customer response

      11/21/2022

      Dear Sir or Madam,

This message is concerning complaint #********.

I am not satisfied with Apple Oil's answer.  The business is telling white lies.

I have paid $592.17 on 12/24/2021 right before Christmas to purchase a new board. The technician diagnosed and confirmed the problem was due to the previous technician's ignorance: the isolation relay part was not assembled to the board, which caused the board to burn.  He said he asked Lenox to deliver a new one as it was covered under warranty. In the following services, Apple Oil clearly indicated that they got the new part from Lenox and service to assemble to my furnace.

I demand the circus board I purchased based in 3/26/2022 be returned back to me.  Not some burnt obsolete part.

      Thank you,

      **** ****
