{Referencing Complaint from 08/15/2022 by Doug B} In an attempt to resolve this issue four months ago we attempted, mutiple times, to speak with the head of the delivery division and never received a returned call. The goal at that time was to see if Apple Oil was willing to do what they are now offering. This offer seems disingenious because it was not made until after filing a BBB complaint. Further, they are aware that we have had the oil tank and contents removed. A representative from Apple Oil contacted me 2-3 weeks ago in an atttempt to resolve the outstanding charges. During that conversation I was never given the offer to have the oil removed, but rather asked if we would be willing to pay the bill if they offered us the current rate of oil ($6/ gal down to $4.50/ gal) which would have reduced the bill by $150. I rejected that offer and informed them that we have moved on and had the tank removed and had no intention of paying for the oil delivery.Review from Doug B

We had Apple Oil for 3 years on contract for oil delivery and service contract. Last summer (2021) our boiler had some serious problems. The service division addressed the problem, but there were concerns the boiler was cracked so we asked Apple Oil to quote us a replacement. The salesman came to house we discussed the solution (very technically challenging job with boiler in crawl space in a pit). I waited a week for quote, nothing. Called and got some run around and was told to expect quote next week. As you can guess, no quote. Boiler seemed to be working fine so we let it go, but interpreted their disengagement as a sign that they didn’t want the job because it would be a headache. Fast forward to spring 2022 and our boiler starts acting up. Apple Oil repairman comes out and ultimately condemns the boiler. We start looking for a solution and ultimately decide a HE propane set up would be best. About a week after being condemned, I called Apple Oil just to make sure the delivery division had canceled our deliveries because our boiler was condemned by them. Find out they delivered $600 of oil that day. To me this suggested they are a completely dysfunctional company where the left and right do not communicate or they are dishonest and will take every opportunity to suck money out of their customers. Legally I don’t know what’s correct, but I can tell you this is not the type of business I will do business with in the future.

Dear ** ********* please let us know since you are not using the oil anymore, when we can come to pump it out and give you a full refund. We will do the oil removal at your convenience, sorry for any confusion.
