We booked 2 stretch limos for a wedding (date 5/28/22) - called business and were advised that we needed to book online, which we did on 4/28/2022. We selected a stretch limo that was advertised at $119.50 per hr with a min 3 hours. We booked 2 vehicles at that rate. We need them for approximately a 5 mile one way drop off for a wedding. When I called today to confirm our reservation, we were informed that the published rate on their website was incorrect and it was to be a 4 hour minimum at a higher hourly rate. The representative asked me to send a screenshot of my booking, which I did. She called me back and advised that they would not honor the contract rate. I asked that the issue be escalated and spoke with a manager, who flat out refused to honor, stating that they were not aware that their website was not posting accurate rates. I explained that this was not my concern and a "WORLDWIDE" limo service should have a better handle on their website. This seems to me to be a bait and switch tactic and totally not in the customer's interest. Of interest, within a few minutes of my complaint, their website is now showing a 4 hour minimum and I was advised that the hourly rate is also being updated. While that is fine, I feel it has nothing to do with my reservation booked yesterday. We feel that appropriate resolution would be to honor a 3 hour minimum at posted hourly rate of $119.50 per vehicle (2 cars) plus tax (total $381 per vehicle). Again, this is for ONE WAY transport from bride's home to wedding venue which is < 5miles away (so, 20-30 minute travel time max). The manager's comment was that these are very expensive vehicles and they would not take it out of the garage for that, insulting at best.
