            On 4/15/2024, After receiving several Scam Tracker reports, BBB Serving CT opened a investigation into the business practices of Atlantic Rigging Supply. This company offers marine rigging equipment online however, consumers report that despite being charged for purchases, they never received the merchandise and the company was unresponsive to all attempts to resolve the issue.

            After  numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach the management of Atlantic Rigging Supply, BBB Serving CT closed our investigation on 5/9/2024 and issued the following Consumer Alert:

            All consumers who have unresolved issues with this company are encouraged to file a formal BBB complaint

            Ordered some pulleys June 18th, 2 weeks go by and not follow up. Finally email them and they say it will ship next week. One week later still no tracking. Tried phoning, no one picks up. Tried emailing again to request refund, they say it will ship tomorrow. I continue to ask for refund as item will arrive too late now and don't receive any more contact. Find out from looking around that the site is widely known for being a scam with the same practices

            I never post negative reviews, but when it comes to Atlantic Rigging Supply, I believe it is important to warn their potential customers. Their customer service was the worst delivery I have ever encountered. I placed my order online and could not get confirmation of my shipment. Atlantic Rigging Supply outsourced their shipping tracking service to Shop which did not work. I then called and left two voicemail messages for Atlantic Rigging Supply who never responded. After a third voicemail message which I included my email address, I finally received an email back from them stating that my credit card number was not up to date which is not true. They wrote that I should use a link to update my credit card information which sent me to ******* After trying two active credit cards and ****** which would not work off their platform, I gave us and requested my order to be canceled. Horrible experience!!
