H&L Paving LLC. paved my driveway in August 2022. I have a two-year warranty to repair cracks and sinkholes. In March of 2023 I noticed cracks at my driveway edge and contacted H&L paving to schedule repairs. They sent out an estimator to look at the damage in the same month, and he indicated the cracks were minor and there should be no problem repairing this condition. However, no repair has been scheduled or performed. I contacted H&L several times a month to schedule repairs but they have been evasive, with much of the blame for their inability to schedule being assigned to the owner, Hector. I have attempted to contact him directly, at the request of the office staff, but he has not picked up any of my calls. I also sent an email to Hector on October 27, 2023, but I have received no response.Initial Complaint

H&L has done paving for my driveway in May 2022. But in November I noticed a crack and let them know immediately. After a couple of emails they told me that they are going to come next week and reheat it so it blinds out. Week passed nobody showed up and I asked again, then my emails are just ignored. I called them and Paola said they her boss doesn't provide her with the date of repairs anymore. Another couple of weeks passed and nothing is done though contract states that new asphalt is 2 years guaranteed from cracks or sinkholes. I would like them to do appropriate repairs.Business response

Good morning there Customer,
It is disappointing on our part to hear of these problems. Unfortunately, the owner of H and L Paving LLC was out of the country. Keep in mind that this business is seasonal and it is difficult to respond when there is a lack of work, the office is closed and guys are laid off. Our records indicate that the owner, Hector, met with you on February 8, 2023. He discussed with you the problem and offered to fix it when the season reopens (May) as stated in our contract. Also the owner, kindly offered you a free sealant which we highly recommend to keep the new asphalt driveway in good condition. I hope you understand that our main goal is to keep our customers happy and provide excellent work.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We agreed we the owner on service to be done in May.
