I reached out about an issue with repairs being completed within a reasonable amount of time. The person I have been dealing with, **** *********, is not answering direct questions. I can't find a way to get through to an actual attorney. She is a para legal. I am not sure she is doing the right thing and if the information she has given me is accurate and complete. I am not able to find a way to communicate with an actual attorney. We have been trying to get her to answer our questions. When my granddaughter called to ask questions, she became defensive and hung up on her. Not very professional. We really need to get the whole situation resolved to where we are aware and confident that everything is on the up and up, and in our best interest. I have multiple emails showing that she seems to be evading the questions.Business response

Mr. Lemberg spoke with Ms. ******* and answered any questions she had, though they did not have to do with her case directly. The questions were regarding certain legal language and not the actual details of the case. The firm has fought vigorously in this case to bring about a satisfactory settlement. Lemberg law ** ******* ** ********* ***** supposed to help with bill collection case was settled I received a check for $850 they received over $2500 my check is held at the **** *** would not cash it I can’t get Lemberg to honor the check a bad check from lawyer the Bank said it didn’t look right my first time going through thisBusiness response

The firm transmitted an ***** check to Ms. *******. Her banking institution, according to its own policy, based on its own relationship with Ms. *******, put a HOLD on the check. That is standard banking policy over which we have zero control.
I don't know whether it's 3 or 5 or 7 business days, but I expect that the hold will be removed and the funds will be available to Ms. *******. We have no control over Ms. *******'s bank's hold policies and therefore cannot help further. The check is good, as it must be.
