      Horrible experience with service. We brought our brand new camper in for a leak repair in the front living room sliders and was told that the problem was fixed when we picked it up. Upon picking it up they completely forgot to replace a rubber seal so we had to wait for them to replace it. Come to find out they also used a white, painter caulking, and also a clear silicone which is the wrong product (from another dealership). They did not allow the caulking to setup and cure before bring the sliders in and it got caught up in the rollers and tracked along the entire underside of the sliders. Over time this cause the rollers to malfunction and also the bottom to crack and create gaps causing a bigger water leak. This lead to our subfloor starting to rot out and water damage to our couch and flooring on the inside. Called Long View to see what our options were in getting this fixed and they told us there is nothing they can do and will not own up to there mistake. Wish I could attach photos to this for everyone to see. Bad business, own up and fix your mistakes, that's the way to keep customers and prevent a horrible review. Do not go here!

      To whom it may concern, We are very sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately we have not worked on this unit for over a year. It was here for an extended amount of time the last time it was here due to the customers desire to possibly trade it and or sell it. This did not happen. Upon pick up, the unit was thoroughly gone through with the customer to insure completion due to the amount of time it was not used. There are many necessary maintenance procedures that need to be performed in a years’ time on any RV. The paramount one being sealant inspections on a regular basis especially if it is unused or in environments prone to excessive wear such as dirt ,heat, and moisture. The manufacturers warranty is expired on this unit and our written guarantee is also expired on this unit. There is no possible way to determine how, where, or what up keep was done with this unit in a years’ time. This is why we cannot participate in an unfounded accusation from another service center a year later. Also upon review of the images provided, the sealer under the room by the rollers appears to be the butyl sealer from behind the exterior facia trim which is the manufacturers primary sealant. We have seen this many times and is usually caused by hot environments or direct exposure of the black facia to the sun for prolonged time. It also seems unlikely that a roller that needs cleaning under the slide room would cause a leak above the floor and that a unit being in use and having been maintained properly would be allowed to have mildew to that extent on an extremely visible area. It is very unfortunate that this happened to this unit and we would hope that you can get it properly diagnosed and are able to enjoy it for years to come. Thank You

      Definitely would Not recommend to anyone! My husband and I purchased a brand new RV from Long View in March 2021 and my husband passed away in October. I could not afford it on my own so I figured I would go back to them to sell it and help me because they knew all the details, BIG MISTAKE! I was lied to by the salesman, screamed at by the person in charge of the salesman (Todd Emerson) and he told that I was a f***ing pain in the a** and hung up on the phone, with no return call, ever! I have never been treated like this , especially under the circumstances from any business. This is the hardest time in my life and they made it more difficult and treated me with such disrespect! Very Nasty, unprofessional staff!

      This is complete miss information. Never have or would i speak to a customer that way! We had our Finance Mgr, Consignment Mgr and the General Mgr helping Joeann. We all understood the unfortunate situation with the passing of her husband. Joeann owned there RV that she paid $94,500 for a 18 months and we helped her out by consigning it back for $90,000. The NADA values drop every quarter, this ment that we would have to sell it for more then she paid 18 months prior. She called and cried on the phone several times and wanted to tell us how to sell her Rv for her. Everytime she would then apologize for the way she spoke to us but wanted us to understand she just lost her husband. We understand she is going through a horrible time and wish her the best.

      Wrong spelling of my name, wrong money amount and not 18 months! Yes, complete miss information from Long View. I WAS sworn at by Todd E****** and hung up on the phone. They can lie but we all know the truth and customers will figure it out on their own! Buyers or shoppers beware. End of conversation with Long View! Good luck to them in the future doing business in this manner. Your actions will always speak louder than words.
