I joined NSCS in March of 2022. Since joining, I've found value in both the networking & scholarship opportunities alone. My local chapter also recruited me to serve on the social media team where I have had the opportunity to continue building my portfolio of work while making a positive impact as an NSCS member. I'm so thankful that I said "yes" to the opportunity to join, meet new people, and grow as a leader and individual. The fee that I paid to be able to be a part of this group of scholars has absolutely been worth the investment!

Joining in 2018, I wasn't sure what to expect. In 2020, I decided to get more involved with NSCS & I am extremely happy that I did. I learned valuable skills through participating in virtual events, attending chapter & national meetings, starting worldwide fundraising campaigns through the chapter, national, & campus communities, networking with professionals within various industry fields, and so much more. Deciding to join NSCS and paying the $97 one-time fee was worth the investment to not only my collegiate experience but professionally as well. It has well-succeeded the cost. I highly recommend any student considering joining NSCS, take that leap. One word of advice, your membership is only what you put into it. If you don't take advantage of any of the services or resources the organization offers, you won't get anything out of it. If you do take advantage of those services and resources, your experience will open doors you never expected!The National Society Of Collegiate Scholars Response

I am so elated with the service this corporation provides it gives you more benefits and discounts that you would think also they even give you chances to get scholarships . But that is just the beginning to have this alumni on my educational background is a positive thing. I am an honorary member and advisor to our chapter. The benefits that you receive from being a member are invaluable and the student experience, especially as a chapter leader, are really astounding. I became a Lifetime member in 2017, I have never used any of the benefits from the Society, but the opportunities that I have available are countless. I have received hundreds of discounts, savings, and opportunities unique to NSCS and I am glad to be a lifetime member. I believe this Society does everything it can for it's members and students who are wanting to make themselves better with a little bit of a helping hand when possible. False advertising and definitely a scam. They convince you to pay about $100 to join just to get you in touch with scholarhips. This same service exists for free with sites like Sallie Mae.
