Letterjoy did not deliver on services as stated upon purchase, and may be a scam company. Purchased a six month monthly letter subscription as a gift for my father in June 2024. The terms of the purchase on the website stated that the first monthly letter be sent the following month, in 7-10 days of the purchase. This did not occur, I sent an email inquiring what had occurred and when this would be sent. A new date for delivery was provided by a representative identified as '***** ****** Letterjoy Senior Support' and no letter arrived. There is no customer support phone number, and only email communication which was difficult to follow with an explanation that six letters were sent in month two of the subscription, though none arrived. When I sent a follow up email again, ***** ****** explained in an email that Letterjoy has a tracking system for their letters, but not through ****. There is no tracking for customers to verify letters are sent, this could only be done by my father through ****. He lived in his house for many years, and without challenges through ****. It is my feeling that this company may be a scam, and also that '***** ******' may not be one individual, but more than one person based on the way the emails were written using different greeting, tone and messaging. At times ******************* refund was provided in September 2024 and at the time of writing this review, still no letters have arrived.For those considering to purchase subscriptions, the company hame that charged my credit card used the name 'history mystery mail' and credited my credit card back with the same name. I can't locate this company name in any search. I regret the frustration and time I spent emailing back and forth without resolution with Letterjoy. I hope that this review is helpful for others considering purchasing from this company.
