We took the Washington after dark tour on 10/7/22 and it was not a good experience. Transportation not as advertised, resulting in no visibility from inside the bus for the "pass by sites." I responded to the request for a review and was anticipating that I would be contacted in follow-up by the company but was not." I called the company on 10/17/22 and was told to text ************ to report my concern. I did that on 10/17/22 and did not get a response. I sent pictures as well. I texted again on 10/19/22 and again got no response. I have to be honest. The tour was awful. The bus was not the same one depicted on the tour website. The windows were dark tinted and you could see NOTHING outside that was being pointed out. We basically rode around in the dark except when we exited the bus. The driver was pleasant and informative but not enough to overcome the lack of visibility on the sightseeing tour. The driver also made several remarks acknowledging that we could not see outside the windows and that this is not the usual bus that we use. So everything he pointed out on the pass by sites were not able to be seen or viewed. It was a total waste and multiple families around us were complaining. I took the same tour with another company a year ago and it was fantastic. No visibility issues from inside the bus.I noticed that the following morning the Zohery Tours bus pulled up in front of the hotel for the tour, not the Tours by Loba bus that we were in. I really do not think I got what I paid fornot even close for the $236 we paid. Please advise how I can go about getting a refund. This was not at all acceptable.Pictures show the view from the bus driver view as clear, and the view from participants seats/darkened windows and also the view from outside the van with the lights on and blackout windows. Orange and black bus is another tour company with windows that allowed visibility.Customer response

As requested, please fine the additional attachments and documentation requested. My initial contact with them was the evening of the tour when I responded to their request for a review. I never received a response,
1. Zohery Tours: 400 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington DC 20001. **************. ************************************** The cell phone number I was asked to text my complaint to was **************.
2. This is the first text sent to them on 10/17/22 after the initial email that had been sent on 10/13/22 (along with photos):
I just spoke with somebody from the main number and was given this number and asked to provide my information regarding our recent Zohery tour here. I had originally replied to their review of the tour and then sent a separate email, but have not heard back.
To whom it may concern-

I have to be honest. The tour was awful. The bus was not the same one depicted on the tour website. The windows were dark tinted and you could see NOTHING outside that was being pointed out. We basically rode around in the dark except when we exited the bus. The driver was pleasant and informative but not enough to overcome the lack of visibility on the sightseeing tour. It would have been better if he exited the bus to provide on site information for the monuments we did see when we exited the bus,. No visibility issues from inside the bus after dark and the driver got out and provided on-site monument narration, which was very informative. I noticed that the following morning the Zohery Tours bus pulled up in front of the hotel for the tour, not the Tours by **** bus that we were in. I really do not think I got what I paid for…not even close for the $236 we paid. Please advise how I can go about getting a refund. This was not at all acceptable and so disappointing for those with us that had not seen the monuments/DC before.
Please see the attached photos from our tour.
The first is the view from the front of our bus
( non-tinted window ) and the second is the window we had to look through. The 3rd illustrates our bus with full interior lights on a s seen through the door, but completely blacked out through the windows. The 4th shows another tour company's bus with interior lights on easily seen through all the bus windows. I hope this illustrates how poor the quality of the tour was. We could not see anything outside of the bus and the tour was marketed as a sightseeing tour with pass by sites. Unfortunately, none of the pass by sites were able to be viewed by the occupants of the bus.
Please advise. On 10/19/22 I texted back to the same text string with" Per above, please advise." Again I got no response.
