              I bought the 10 months extended bar prep exam from Barbri. They have my credit card on file and they charge my card monthly per the fee schedule. Yet I have gotten locked out of their system over 5 times with an error message saying "Pending payment". When I call their service line (it takes over 30 min to answer) the operator tells me that they don't have the permissions to re-activate my access; that their supervisor has to do it. The supervisor is very slow to respond. It takes them several days to figure my access every time this happens. I have a very demanding job and can only study from 5AM-7AM. This problem has caused me to fall behind on my weekly assignments and cause lots of stress having to catch up. Also, I ordered my books over a month ago. When I call their US line, they tell me that they have to call their global team in the UK because I'm part of their extended prep course (6-10 months). But they never seems to get answers from their UK team. I need the books to study. I have not been able to study properly for the first month of this course so far.

              DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE! 1. First off, they are going to overwhelm you with a bunch of material and outdated long lectures. When you realize that you have wasted your time with all this inefficient material you are going to be one month away from the exam and will start to freak out. Then you will probably fail because it will be too late. They will offer you the option to access the course for a second time for "free" which will be useless because now you know that the course was completely inefficient and you could actually have passed by buying a much cheaper course or books. 2. Once you become a repeater they treat you like shit. They do not correct your essays or answer your emails. If you complain they will say that you took the course for free and are not entitled to the same services. 3. The course has constant technical problems and they will not refund your money if you complain. The books are not straightforward and are too long. The MBE questions are not real MBE questions. You will feel more and more frustrated and wish you had never spent more than $300 on this course, nevertheless $3000. My advice is: Look for other cheaper resources (Themis, Mary B***** books, Adaptbar).
