I discovered Fatty's Tattoo Shop through a ****** search. They seemed to have mostly positive reviews. I used their client portal to reach out to schedule an appointment. After a brief consultation with my assigned artist, we set a date for our first session for November and I paid a $200 deposit. I had to reschedule my appointment because of another engagement, so the new appointment would December 14th. Originally, I was going to arrive to the shop at 2 pm, but the artist pushed the start time back to 3 pm. I arrived at 3 pm and waited one-two hours so he could do the sketch. During the first appointment, he did the line art and shading. We set a follow up appointment for January during which he would start the color. I also paid the remainder of my tattoo cost and added a tip. In total I paid $1,100. On January 11, the day before our second appointment, the artist asked to push the start time back by several hours. I agreed. On the 12th, the day of our appointment, he asked to reschedule for another day. We decided to do January 20. On the 20th, I reached out to see what time to show up. He asked to move my appointment again to February 3. I showed up the appointment and the artist asked to move our session again to the 4th. On February 4, he added the first layer of color to my arm. Our next appointment would be the beginning of March. I don't have the exact date. During that session he added the next layer of color and we scheduled a fourth appointment for two weeks later. On March 16, I arrived at the shop, the artist said my arm was still healing and to send him pictures after another week. We would go from there. I have not heard from my artist since March 16. I emailed the shop on April 20, detailing my experience and the owner apologized, said they would forward my email to my artist and hopefully he would finish it. I have not heard from either my artist or the shop owner since then, despite paying the full amount for my tattoo.
