      Ordered the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 2019 Proof Silver Dollar when it first come out. Never received and they would not respond. Had to go through PayPal to get a refund.

      On or about August 25 & 26, I called the United States Mint to cancel an order. I was told the order could NOT be cancelled because it was processing. The lady told me I had to wait until the order was ready for the shipping phase. I began checking the order status, every hour or two. Next thing I remember was checking the order status, and it was posted as shipping, so I called to cancel. The lady I spoke to said she could NOT cancel because it was in the shipping phase. I received the order, that I did NOT want. I opened the package just enough for me to insert the information the United States Mint required. On August 30, 2022, I shipped the never opened package back to the United States Mint. The United States Mint received the package at the, MEMPHIS, TN 38117 on September 1, 2022 at 12:07 pm, return location. I called Customer Service at 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468), no less than five times. Twice, the ladies I spoke with told me my $154.74 would be in my account within three days. Never happened. Two ladies, including Chenille, who I spoke with an hour ago, August 9, 2022, Time was, 17:20, said they were upgrading my order so I will have my $154.75 back sooner. Well, that didn’t work the first time, so I sure don’t believe this ploy the second time. All-in-all I am stuck in a con game. Chenille, the representative I spoke with a little over an hour ago said, it can take up to six weeks to receive MY MONEY, back! She also said my order was upgraded on September 20, so from that date it will take up to six weeks! Then Chenille upgraded return today, does that mean I should receive my $154.75, six weeks from today? As soon as she told me she was upgrading my refund, she was conveniently disconnected. This review is being processed through the BBB-Better Business Bureau. Thank you BBB for allowing a way to warn United States Mint customers about the HORRIFIC return craziness. Thank you, T.P.

      Back in September '21, I ordered a coin, over 2K value, and never got it. The tracking number they provided as proof of delivery is non-existent, according to my local post office. My credit card backed me and refunded me the money. The mint is not acknowledging the "fraudulent" tracking number they provided as proof of delivery and are still trying to collect from me. I will now have to hold off on ordering anything else from them, which is unfortunate because up to this one order, they have been very reliable on my orders.

      HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY COINS FROM THE US MINT! LET ME TELL YOU WHAT THEY DID. A FEW MONTHS AGO I PURCHASED NEW ISSUE SILVER DOLLARS FROM THEM. I HAD TO WAIT A COUPLE MONTHS BECAUSE OF "DELAYS" OVER A MONTH AGO, THEY FINALLY SEND ME NOTIFICATION THAT MY ORDER WAS GOING TO BE MAILED OUT AND THEY SUPPLIED ME WITH A TRACKING NUMBER. AS OF TODAY, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ORDER AND WHEN I PUT THE TRACKING NUMBER INTO THE USPS WEBSITE IT SAYS THAT USPS IS AWAITING THE PACKAGE FROM THE MINT. MIND YOU THIS IS A SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLAR ORDER. TWO WEEKS AGO, I HAD TO SEND AN EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ASKING FOR AN UPDATE ON WHEN I COULD EXPECT THE ORDER, BECAUSE THEIR 1-800 NUMBER SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE AND KEEPS DISCONNECTING YOU OR IT "DOESN'T UNDERSTAND" THE VOICE RESPONSES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO THE EMAIL. SO TODAY, I TRIED THEIR 1-800 NUMBER AGAIN. IT STILL DOESN'T PUT YOU THROUGH TO A LIVE PERSON, SO I WENT THROUGH THEIR ONLINE CHAT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP "SHANDRA" I WAS DEALING WITH TELLS ME THAT USPS HAS BEEN SLOW IN PICKING UP PACKAGES FROM THEM SO SHE IS GOING TO ISSUE A REFUND! SO THE MINT SENDS ME A MAILING NOTIFICATION ON OCTOBER 25TH WITH A TRACKING NUMBER AND TODAY THEY TELL ME USPS IS SLOW PICKING UP PACKAGES!! ALMOST 30 DAYS SLOW? WHO ARE THEY KIDDING? IN THE MEANTIME, THESE COINS I ORDERED ARE ALL OVER BROKER SITES, EBAY ETC FOR MUCH MORE THAN I PAID FOR THEM WHEN THEY WERE ISSUED. i WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

      Horrible service, bad website. No follow-up, no shipping info, no customer service. Waited on hold for 45 mins, listening to recording telling me they value me. Order was placed two months ago, never received, never shipped, order number is invalid. This is on a 2,000 coin. Typical Gov incompetence and failure. Will never buy from them again.

      The US Mint continues to lower quality and increase prices. They do not care about customers or collectors of their products. They do not answer the phone or emails. Their chat system does not work. They will ship incomplete orders and damaged products. The US Mint is incapable of providing its basic services.
