I went into meineke for a new battery they charged me $216 on the 24th of March 2022. I picked my car up and my battery light was still on. I went back in to ask them why my light was still on after I jus brought a battery he told me it was fine and the battery was charging he also told me I needed breaks and rotors and a new belt. The next day my belt popped I got my bar towed to the closet meineke to where my car was being towed from in Chester pa where my belt was fixed they told me I needed a new battery. After I just brought a new one the mechanic at the Meineke informed me to call the place I brought my battery from I did they told me to come in so they could fix it . I went to the location and they told me it would be $520 to get the battery fixed because a sensor was broken. My problem was if my battery sensor was broken why did I have to go to another shop for them to tell me that after the claymont meineke just installed my batter the day before and never mentioned a sensor being broken at all I was told my car was fine other than the belt and the brakes and rotors how did my sensor break within a day ? How did they know my sensor was broken and not inform me before or after they installed my battery. why did I have to go to another car shop for them to tell me that. I went back to the claymont location the manager told me my sensor was broken he didn’t even inform me about it until another car shop informed me the next day .
