I would like to personally recommend the excellent attention from AskForFunding.com website re any concerns re investors or their location or types of businesses they invest in. AskForFunding always tried to 'tailor-made' my funding request for my start-up for my 'indie production co. to be located in Temecula, Ca. US. to match up with my UNIQUE line of business. They do have a lot of entrepeneurs in various locations in the U.S. I am still temporarily in Canada which makes it a bit more difficult to meet with an investor immediately but at least I am making connections so when I do get there which will be very helpful. Mr. Jose Nunez has wonderful customer relationship manners and responds immediately any concern or advice I may need. I am a screenwriter/songwriter/actor, lifetime member of SAG/AFTRA AND BMI so this site is very beneficial for these entrepreneurial connections. Shirleena Manchur aka Shirley

I recently founded my own media venture, an LLC. A media venture cannot thrive on just money from its founder's own pocket. So I decided to find ways to acquire capital for my venture to keep the lights on. I searched hard for online databases and services where I could find lists of venture capital firms, private equity firms and angel investors that I could contact for my media venture. One of these databases I found on Google was "AskForFunding". Its website billed itself as "the #1 site to directly ask investors for funding", but it did not provide a source to back up these claims. The reviews look artificial or copied from other websites. I still believed them anyway because I wanted to get capital for my media venture as soon as possible. Through AFF, I reached out to some venture capital firms to request meetings in which I could discuss my amazing media venture that will change the world for the better, positively entertain Americans, and improve media literacy, education and trust in institutions like media. Unfortunately, not a single venture capital firm I contacted responded to me. At the recommendation of someone I spoke with while calling the company's customer service number, I contacted about 15-20 different venture capital firms and angel investors on the days I used this service. I gave up, because unfortunately, none of these people contacted me back, which frustrated me. Ignore the 5-star reviews. I recommend that no one reach out to this company. I made an error in judgment. I am respectfully requesting a full $194.99 refund for everything I've been through. Don't believe the false advertising. -Peter

I used the AskForFunding platform to raise funds and I was truly elated. From signing in and forward, very accessible and courteous staff, an excellent and easy App, Kudos to all of the people at this platform.

I don't know who this Andy is, I had no communication from anyone at this company until I decided no to renew. You're right, the $99 is a waste of money. I was on every day including weekends doing my 10 contacts a day and got auto responses and a couple who actually took the time to reply to my email stating not interested. My subscription was supposed to end at the end of the day on 5/18/2024 and I went in around one and they had already cancelled my subscription. My recommendation is don't waste your money they are not a trusted broker based on sites on google.

Jose Nunez from Ask For Funding is some one that is deserving of 5 Stars. I felt that the Funding Success Manager that was supposed to be working with me was no where to be found after I signed up. Although one of his selling points for Ask For Funding was how he planned on reaching out to Investors on my behalf. It never happened. I spoke to Mr. Jose Nunez about it immediately my Funding Success Manager found the time to respond to an email that I sent him close to 5 days Prior. Jose Nunez is the reason I will stay with Ask For Funding.

This website is FULL of investors and an excellent way to receive donations and funding!
