ZERO STARS This company will do nothing but take your money, BS you and never do repairs. We closed in June, 2022. To date we still have a hole in our bedroom window, our patio door frame is broken and will not accommodate a screen, the staircase has `1/2 inch hole length of trim and landing. Paid for oak stair case and got whatever fake wood they put on our floor on each landing. Paid for 5 blade white fans, they installed 3 blade brown fans. All the cabinets have space between the walls and floor. They asked me why trim wasn't used to cover holes between bathroom cabinet and floor. DUD! Workmanship is horrible. Initially Furnace was installed incorrectly with no heat on second floor. Told they forgot to put the heating vents in which created 3 large holes in ceiling. CHARGED $7,132. FOR A 6 FOOT CLEARANCE IN OUR BASEMENT AND THEY GAVE US THE STANDARD CRAWL SPACE. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, STAY AWAY FROM REGAL BUILDERS UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING ROBBED.

Buyer beware when dealing with this builder! They took much longer than they told us it would take to build your home. When we inquired about the progress of construction, they lied to us about the status and then sent us an email threatening us with arrest when we checked for ourselves to see if the house was being built according to plans, and called them out for their lies and building mistakes. Once you close on the property, it gets even worse. They ignored our service requests, totally disregarded the contractually required 30 day and 11 month inspection walkthroughs, and once they eventually scheduled them months later, they have not followed through with the identified issues that need work. Instead, they say you are too late in reporting the problems. Be prepared to get a lawyer or engage in a years-long battle to get at least some of what you are entitled to if you purchase here. It seems a lot of residents just give up and pay for things themselves, and that is what the builder wants. On the positive side, the residents of the community are great!

While our goal at Regal Builders is to construct our homebuyers’ dream homes as quickly as possible, we do have provisions within our contracts to allow for up to 24 months to complete the construction of their home. This allows us to navigate any delays due to unforeseen circumstances. During the period when we were building your home, our industry was facing issues never experienced before as it relates to labor and supply chain. This did impact the timing of delivery by approximately six months. The letter you reference regarding entrance to the home while under construction was in response to entrance outside of set walk-through milestones. Per the contract, this is prohibited to ensure your safety (it is an active construction site) and prevent any delays or interruptions when our trades partners are potentially within the home doing work.  Our service team has been in transition which led us to get support from our construction superintendent and other members of the construction team to complete all outstanding needs as quickly as possible. Your 11-month walk through was completed in December of 2022 per the list submitted to our warranty company. While 2-10 is only are responsible for the first 12-months after settlement and does reject service needs that are submitted outside of that timeframe, that doesn’t mean that Regal Builders will not address them as they are always passed on to us. Per communications with you on 5/25 we have contracted with a service provider to address any remaining items from your 30 day and 11-month lists. They will be contacting you within the week to schedule this appointment. There were approximately 5 items still outstanding, and we also listed these in our email communication on 5/25 to confirm what items are slated to be addressed.  While delays are unfortunate they do happen, and we fully commit to delivering on our initial promise to you to review/complete any outstanding work within your home so you can continue to love it and your community.

Signed a contract to have our "dream home" built and it's been a nightmare ever since. No communication, delays due to "unpresented times" and no answers to our questions.
