i bought a can am ds 90 in march of 2021 from diamond motorsports . my son rode it for around a total of 2 to 3 hours the chain fell off and then a clicking noise occured . We took it to diamond motorsports where we purchased it after a friend of ours looked at it and checked all the fluids and said that it was shipped without transmission fluid in it. Diamond motorsports confirmed that and tried to do a good faith warranty claim with can am, i was notified by can am weeks later that they will not honor no warranties since i had someone look at the fluids in the a t v . Both can am and diamond motorsports are at fault because it came from the factory like that and should of been dealer prepped properly. i called daimond motorsports and they said now they offer me a discount on the repair which would make it close to 500 dollars for an atv thats brand new and has only been ridden for around 2 to 3 hours when it was clearly stated by can am and diamond motorsports it was their fault for being shipped with 1 ounce of fluid and not the required amount in the transmission housing which cause it to overheat and crack a tooth on the transmission gear.
