Fogatti Inc Dover, Delaware ordered on Amazon. a 7.5gpm tankless in house water heater on 3/29/23 , $824.00. The following is from their company page. Excellent quality CSA certified in the United States and Canada. Adopting the world's most advanced technology, superior safety and durability. Using built in forced exhaust fan at the bottom ensures stable combustion and eliminates the influence of external wind. Compact design for easy installation. Fogatti provides 5 years warranty on the heat exchanger and 2 years warranty on other parts. The above-mentioned labor costs are extra from 31 days. UPON plumber install of unit it would not ignite showing E5 error code checked installation manual it stated faulty flow sensor at 10pm called the number in the operating manual it stated after hours service. This FIRST call and ALL the ones proceeding have been total nightmares, lies. It was a very lengthy conversation, they wanted me as a disabled customer to go thru the steps to prove it was a faulty flow sensor. doing best I could, sent photos as they ask, gave tank information as they ask. Took 5 days to receive new part and plumber had to install that's 2 service calls for this FIRSTunit at $250.00 each to NOT void warranty. July early August of 2023 unit stopped working showing E8 error. After multitude of emails (I HAVE) speaking to 6 different cust serv techs with many lies and excuses. I am disabled my husband is going blind no hot water during this time.New unit arrived approx Oct 6 going by memory unable access delivery info while writing this complaint. Called 4 different companies,cost to install was $1500-2000,finally found a reputable company to install $200 per hr, plumber installed NEW unit, immediately error code E7 manual stated faulty control panel. Plumber smelled burning scent.Called cust Serv tech got the same treatment. July to Oct 13,still waiting on hot water. Since May 2 NEW units faulty on arrival 4serv calls,much more info no room to tell.
