About 6 months ago I had Ron Ulak (owner of J&S Roofing) come out and install a metal roof on my house. He agreed to do 3 things: 1. Install a metal roof ovr my leaking asphalt roof 2. Install achimney for a woodburning stove in hte new roof 3. Reinstall/fix an exterior door to change the swing of the door from outside to inside. Results: #1 - The new roof has problems. 1A - The roof leaks 1B - He didn't finish trimming one of the roof panels AND didn't finish installing the drip edge #2 - He said he'd return to complete #2 after parts came in; he never returned #3 - He BADLY installed/fix the door. 3A - He replaced the doorframe, but didn't install it correctly, leaving a large gap. 3B - He broke the old door trim in 4 places and didn't replace it. 3C - He reinstalled the old door trim with what must be almost 100 nails, leaving the door trim covered in dots from the nail heads, so it looks like it's covered in ants. 3D - He didn't paint the new door frame at all on the exterior 3E - On the doorframe exterior, he tried to cover damage with copious amounts of caulk and didn't even smooth the caulk out, so it looks terrible. I've tried calling him/his company over 10 times over a period of several months. He never answeres the phone or returns and phone calls. ONCE I reached his wife, who asked for pictures of the damages, but then she never called me back or ever answered her phone ever again.
