Pete from PC Septic has been terrible to work with. After signing the contract I provided him with a down payment which was standard for all of the contractors I spoke to. I was to provide another progress payment to him once he started work. He arrived at my house stating he was starting work as he had some workers with him and requested the 2nd progress payment after a few hours of work. Once he received the check he told me that most of the material was delayed and provided me a timeline of when it can be expected to arrive. The timeline came and went without a phone call a from Pete. I had to reach out to him and he informed me the material was delayed again. He again provided a timeline and didn't reach out once the time has passed. This happened several times before he finally informed me (after I had to call him) that material arrived and he would be at my house within a few weeks. Again, that time passed and he did not show or contact me. I reached out again and he provided a new day of when he would be on-site. He again never showed on the agreed upon date. This happened multiple times over the course of two months since the material arrived. At one point I spoke with him the morning he was supposed to be at my house and he told me he would be there that day. He never showed or called and very missed date came with an excuse. He has since stopped returning any my calls, text messages or social media messages. He has not delivered on any of the dates that he provided me (material or installation) since the contract was signed and the only work to date that he has performed was delivering a pile of stone. It has been 5 months since the contract was signed and the contract stated he would be done within 6 weeks.
