Cahall Landworks had a contract with myself & my husband, ****. The contract was to remove an acre of trees. The initial contract was $11,500.00. The final bill was more. The job was completed in July & paid in full. It was discovered that only .48 acre of trees was removed. I advised ***** ****** that he did not remove enough trees. He did not want to acknowledge this error & gave excuses why he could not come out to the property to release the area. I called, texted & sent an email. He finally met me @ the property on 12/20/23. He agreed that he did not remove enough trees & agreed to come back soon to remove another half acre. He would not give me a date to return, not a verbal, a text or via email. I even sent a registered letter to him & he will not sign for it. We MUST have the remainder of these trees removed ASAP so that we can move forward with our building plans. I fulfilled my contract obligation now he needs to fulfill his contract obligation. ***** has an excuse for everything but his excuses are not real. I have a detailed email that gives a complete job summary, to date. I sent this email, requesting a date in writing, & he will not reply. I printed the email & sent it registered mail on 1/25/24 & he will not sign for it. I have called his (business partner, Brooks) twice & he will not call me back. ***** says he is busy with other jobs but I told him that he has an obligation to me & I should receive PRIORITY because he did not fulfill his contract.
