      I ordered a new dish washer from Millman's Appliances. I told the staff that there was water still inside the old one . When the new one was installed on 10/25 I again told the staff about the water. When he carried the old dish washer out a hose was loose and it sprayed liquid over the carpet from the kitchen across the living room to the front door. At the time I thought it was just water. The next morning I found yellow stains all over the carpet. I arranged to have the carpet professionally cleaned. On 11/1/2023 when the carpet cleaners arrived they carefully inspected the stains and informed me that the fibers of the carpet had been bleached down to the backing. They reported that no stain remover would correct the problem and they recommended that the carpet be replaced. I immediately called Millman's and reported this. I called again on 11/7 and 11/9. No one returned my calls. On 11/ 15/2023 I sent a certified letter with return receipt to Millman's. The receipt was signed on 11/17/2023. A few days larer I received a phone and was informed that someone (I don't recall the name) would be contacting me to look at the damage. No one has contacted me. I obtained an estimate on replacing the carpet. That estimate is $3135.00.

      On June 1, 2022 I placed an order with Millman’s for an oven microwave combo ( invoice #. 5424309 ) This appliance was paid in full for the amount of $3438.89 Check # 2994 with an estimated 2 week delivery. July 5, 2022 I received a voicemail pushing my delivery date back to mid August. I began searching for a similar appliance and spoke with ****. **** mentioned the delay was due to production issues and this model was no longer available. I asked for a refund and was offered a different model for an additional $590. I reluctantly agreed. August 19, 2022 I received a voicemail from Vicki stating that she would follow up with Patrick with additional delivery information. August 29, 2022 I received a phone call from **** stating that the oven was in the warehouse and we needed to set up a delivery date. The next day I found out this oven had been promised to another customer. My last verbal communication from anyone at Millman’s was the end of October with estimated delivery date of December 29, 2022. December 20, 2022 I received an email from Rebecca that I would receive a call to arrange for delivery . I still have not heard anything. There has been a lot of miscommunication and inaccurate details on the Millman’s behalf concerning this transaction. Millman’s has had 8 months to resolve this issue. There is no resolution in sight at this time, and I am requesting a full refund.

      Good Evening, The consumer created a lot of the delays by attempting different model changes, configurations etc. Everytime a consumer changes models we have to recreate an order and the customer is standing in the back of the line each time this happens. When customer was contacted for arranged delivery she stated she wanted to cancel the order. Which once again caused delays in the process. The consumer then was told about no cancellations when she decided to create an Attorney General complaint. Millman’s has tried to assist in resolution each time the consumer made a change or stated anything about Home Depot. We are not cancelling the consumers order and not able per our distribution channel due to the excessive changes from the consumer. We will arrange delivery with consumer within the next 10 days of the product with guarantee from the consumer of no more confusion of changing models, configurations etc.

The response given by the business is inaccurate and false. The order was originally changed because that model was no longer available.       In March 2021 we ordered 4 appliances from Millmans, we were given a delivery date for our appliances in December 2021. 3 appliances were delivered on that date, including the wrong refrigerator. The delivery driver would not take it back, said to use it until the correct refrigerator came in, the person I spoke with in customer service also said to use it until the correct one came in. I was also told the incorrect refrigerator had been ordered, then I was told the correct one had been ordered. Since December the 4th appliance has been delivered and the correct refrigerator has not been delivered yet. We have attempted several times to get this resolved. We have also called several times, had to leave messages and no one has returned the call. I have included a copy of the original invoice, a copy of the delivery receipt showing the wrong refrigerator was delivered and a picture of the model that was delivered. The incorrect refrigerator model is also about $500 cheaper and no mention of reimbursement has been made. But, ultimately I would like the refrigerator that we ordered and paid for.

      We are aware of the issue with the ****** and we have their correct refrigerator on Backorder still. Unfortunately the people that left the refrigerator are no longer with our company to find out why they would leave a incorrect unit and to ask why we would allow a customer to use a $2,000 dollar refrigerator. We apologize to the Quinn’s for any inconvenience but would also like to remind them of upgrade on the dishwasher that we absorbed, also that they are currently using a brand new refrigerator to their benefit while their unit is on backorder. The Quinn’s have had no issue with demands through email before and we think that this case should be closed due to the fact they are clearly using and have not been left without refrigeration.       We ordered and paid for an oven and still have not received the oven, they are unable to offer any update or approximate delivery. They don't return phone calls, emails and we have gone into the business looking for status. I need the oven, I want the oven and I want them to fulfill their sale. Invoice number is 5421145, the total amount with extended warranty and install is $1332.90. The check was cashed by Millman's on July 9, 2021, almost one year ago!

      Our sales agent reached out to the consumer to assist with the issue and seek resolution. Customer decided to hang up during the call and now has gave the company a one star review before any assistance could be provided. The Samsung the customer ordered has been on a severe backorder. At this time due to escalation on numerous platforms defaming the business our management team is looking at possible solutions. If the customer would like to speak to our General Manager the customer can email him @ [email protected] he also will be contacting the consumer tomorrow as well. Please close this claim with the BBB because we can resolve without numerous intervention that will slow down corrective action.

      Spoke with **** on 11/15/21 and ordered a Frigidaire refrigerator that was to be delivered in 1 and 1/2 weeks. I brought a personal check for 2198.00 to **** on 11/15/21. I was never contacted regarding a delivery date and several calls to Millmans were not returned I went to the store and was told that the refrigerator was sold to someone else and I was on a list for another one. She could not give me a time frame. I subsequently enlisted my daughters help and she spoke with **** and a refund invoice was issued and any further service by Millmans was cancelled. As of today,1/3/22,I have not received a refund or a return call or email regarding a target date for refund. I went to this local business after 2 faulty refrigerators were delivered by a big box company.

      We ordered a dishwasher on August 2021, and at the time of purchase, we were told by the associate that the delivery could be in the middle of September. Unfortunately, the business never called us back to let us know that there was a delay in production from the Bosch dishwasher by the manufacturer. We learned all of it because we called Rose the supervisor. Two weeks ago received a call from Millman's Appliances that the dishwasher would be delivered today, 10/29/21. We called them today, and they indicated that there was no delivery. I asked to speak to the owner or a supervisor their response was they were in a meeting. I stated that I was going to call the police to put a complaint. We pay in full with a check that they cash immediately. As I am writing this complaint, I have been on the phone with them. Elissa promised to call to let me know before Nov. 2nd; I expressed my concerns about poor communication and customer service. I don't trust them, and we will wait until then. They offered to return my money and said NO. We need our dishwasher.

      The customer listed above has been less the patient through the process. Even though we can not control the world of getting appliances we can control how this consumer treats our employees. We will be more then happy as explained to the consumer to return her money since she believes that we are in control of the situation provided. This was not acceptable to the consumer even though she still believes in threats to our business will resolve the problem. The consumer can write to the General Manager at anytime she would like at ****************************** this will create a paper trail till we come to a mutual agreement.

      I don't accept the response from the business because I have been more than patient with the company. Their communication has been poor. They even stated to me the challenges they have with their employee's communication. That has been a significant problem with the complaints. I want my dishwasher. I have been waiting for three months. We will have to wait for more time if order from another place. I trusted Home Depot, who referred me to them. I want communication and a specific date of the delivery of y purchase. I am not going to say anymore; follow up with your word. They stated they would be calling today, Nov 2nd have not received a message. I want my dishwasher and good service.it very difficult to get an answer. please have them provide a date of delivery.

      On or around March 26, 2021 I ordered and paid for in-full an appliance + installation from Millmans Appliances. It was for an INK Evolution Excel which I had researched and chosen. In September, I called Millmans and installation was scheduled. No one showed up on the date of installation and no one has ever returned any of my phone calls. I have persisted in calling Millmans and was told that they intended to substitute another company's product for the InSinkerAtor. I told them that this was not acceptable and never received a return phone call. Instead I received by email a "credit memo" on my non-existent account. I called and called again, and eventually spoke with someone who told me a check had been sent to my Lewes address. I never received a check at my Lewes address and never received it anywhere else. The amount is for $594 + all the time I have had to spend calling Millmans over and over again to resolve this.

      The customer states we credited a account which we simply would never do as we do not have lines of credit in our business. Never have never will. The credit memo this customer was sent was to show that the refund was processed on the date through our accounting office. We did send numerous checks with stop payment to the address we have on file. The consumer does not live at the residence full time and created a issue when all of a sudden we now have to ship mail to her D.C address. We put a stop payment on the checks and then issued a new one. This consumer thinks that her tactics will result in immediate action and we can show that she has been refunded and will just have to wait for her certify mail to come in. We ask that this case be closed as it is resolved.
