I took my vehicle in on 1/8/24 to diagnose why my check engine light was on. I was told that the fee was $170.50 and if I got the repairs done at Patriot the fee would be waived. The estimate I was given was $1,786.05. I paid the fee and did not decide to get my car repaired at the shop until the next day. At the time of drop off I paid $329.50 which was added to the fee as part of the deposit to order parts. Upon completion of the repair I was expecting to pay the balance of $1,286.05. I was told the balance was $1,456.55 which I questioned. I was given an unacceptable explanation which I continued to question. Since I could not get a reasonable explanation I informed the clerk who I picked up my car from that I was not satisfied with the explanation and I would pursue this issue further. I submitted a request to contact me on the businesses website and have yet to get a reply from anyone. Based on my calculations and the information I was provided, I feel like the diagnosis fee of $170.50 was added to my balance. I have attached supporting documents for review.
