If I could leave a zero I would. Thousand Acre Farm kept $7,400.00, of our money and we got nothing in return. The wedding was postponed due to Covid, we were only offered a new date into the next year and they arbitrarily added an additional 15% fee "for the new pricing". We contacted an attorney and was told 6 other couples were using his firm to sue for the same reason. I continued to leave messages for Susan because the phone was never answered. I asked if she would at least return the last check I sent. I had just sent that check only 10 days prior to Covid shutting everything down. Most people struggled in one way or another because of Covid yet they had no heart and continued to take advantage of the situation hurting young people who were just starting out. I'm certain they received a large PPP loan on top of keeping everyone's money. They have absolutely no ethics. My son was unable to purchase a home because of the lost $7,400.00. The only thing we could do is move forward and warn others who would consider using such a greedy, unscrupulous and entitled family
