Attention: George Barth On April 16, 2021, you came to our home in Newark and groomed our two dogs. First you groomed Luna, our Golden Retriever. After you groomed Luna; you came in to get Abbey, our Springer Spaniel and took her outside in your mobile van to groom. When you finished with Abbey, you came into our home, Abbey was bleeding from her nose. I was upset. Your reply- “take her outside and let her stay for an hour; and she will be fine”. I started to cry because I was so upset. You said to me, “Why are you crying; she’ll be fine; let her stay outside for an hour”. I was livid! Then, you had the nerve to ask me for a $240 check. Abbey was not fine George. A few weeks later; Abbey started to have nosebleeds. They did not last for a few minutes, George. They lasted for 1-2 hours, and they were the short ones. I proceeded to take her to Blue Pearl Vet hospital with each nosebleed she had. You cannot imagine my vet bills! Our house looked like a crime scene, as did our garage and patio. You told us you cut Abbey with your razor, because she moved swiftly while you were grooming her. You must have had an “infected blade” that was dirty because Abbey never had nosebleeds prior to your grooming her. You did not bother calling us that afternoon, or the next day to check and see how Abbey was. All you were concerned about was getting your $240.00, George! I went through this horrible ordeal with Abbey from the day you cut her until May 21, 2022, the day Abbey died. My husband said we should send you the folder and share with you how much we paid to Blue Pearl Vet thanks to your careless mistake; and have you share half the expenses we paid for almost one year. That is the least you could do! She did not start to have these nosebleeds, until you cut her on/inside the nose! She was never the same since the day you cut her! Her passing cut us to the core. She was my Angel! She was my shadow! You took that all away! You'll be hearing from us! Cathy Zaborowski
