I bought a 2023 Corolla Cross from Newark Price Toyota on October 16, 2023. Their management of their reward system is deceiving. I had 502.42 reward points or $502.42 toward the purchase of a new vehicle. They did not alert me to this fact at the time of the purachase and the points were not applied. When I went back to claim the reward they said they can not do it reroactively. This is cheating in my book. They said it was my responsibility at the time of purchase to tell them that I had the points. In the past when I had repairs done at their service facility I was always reminded of my current points, I did not have to remind them. It is in their system. I have been a loyal customer since the 1980s. My trust in their business is greatly shaken.

Quoted one price to replace alternator. Went to pick up and the price tripled! They do not honor quotes they give. No one charges $1200 for an alternator. The quote they texted me through their service department magically disappeared after I approved it.

They lie about warranty’s and refuse to fix issues covered by a warranty. The will lie to you to get you to buy then turn around and not help you. I paid cash for my 2012 highlander it had transmission issues I brought it back within a month and the refused to fix it for me. They also did it record me being there so they could lie about it later. Do not buy anything from them or price Honda or Toyota world. All the same owner.

0n 8-15-22, I purchased a 2022 Toyota Camry. I traded in a 2012 Toyota Camry and was not given a fair price for it. If you plan to trade in your vehicle do your homework and get 2 or 3 outside offers. Doing this could save you some big money. If you do trade in your car make sure that they are not advertising your car showing your tag. In conclusion, keep ALL car cost worksheets that are presented to you during the sales process. Caveat emptor!

I purchased a brand new 2012 Toyota Highlander with Blizzard Pearl paint from Price Toyota. Fast forward to now, the vehicle is paid in full and the paint is peeling off in sheets from the hood and roof of my car. After doing some research, I discovered that there was a factory recall on this paint because it was defective. I contacted the Toyota corporate office and filed a complaint. A case was opened, and I was told that I could take the case number to Price Toyota to have my vehicle repaired free of charge. Price Toyota refused to honor that, stating that my highlander wasn't a part of the "campaign" to get fixed based on my model and VIN number. I was told to pursue this issue with my insurance. My insurance denied the claim, stating that Toyota should pay the cost since the paint was defective. I have opened cases with both the corporate office and the customer brand engagement team. Price Toyota sold me a car with defective, peeling paint, and they are refusing to fix it. This is totally unacceptable, and they should be ashamed of how they treat loyal customers.

On Aug. 8, 2020 I bought a 2009 Toyota Tacoma from Price Toyota in New Castle Delaware. It was my first Toyota ever. Shortly after I bought it I became aware of the frame problem that Toyota had with their trucks. In late Aug or early Sep I asked Price Toyota to check the frame on my truck, they did and told me it only had surface rust. In Nov of 2021 I took it to them again because the frame had become even more rusted. They photographed the frame and sent the pictures to Toyota with a ASAP note attached. Toyota corresponded it's not covered. The frame now has holes where the rust has eaten through it. How does a frame go from surface rust to having rust bad enough to cause holes in it? I paid over $15,000 for the truck and during the year I added many upgrades to it. I'm giving the truck two more years and it will not be safe to drive. At that point I will lose everything I invested in it. Price Toyota tells me it Toyota's problem and Toyota thanked me for contacting them but said its now my problem. Price Toyota knew of the frame problem but it was never mentioned when I was buying the truck. My question is how could Price Toyota sell me a truck with a bad frame and consider it my deal, my loss!!!!

When paying out right for my camry hybrid xle, I was told to purchase a warranty that would protect any electrical components my car may need fixed. I purchased it for $4000 to find out from the CEO it should have only cost $2495. Now since they will not honor it I told them I want my money back. I never used this warranty and now they are only willing to issue me back $900. A check they were supposed to have sent a few days ago which will supposedly take more than 30 days for their measly $900. I having issues and with my medications I called and cursed the lady out on the phone that lied about my vehicle allegedly being in an accident. They are trying to blackmail me and say it was a threat and that I'm not allowed on their property. I'm so sick of their crap and all of their scandalous ways. When I talk to their CEO he was trying to help me somewhat fix the situation until they lied to him and say my phone call was a threat. I'm getting more and more aggravates as the days and lies go on. They are straight up crooks when a women with a TBI goes into buy a car alone. I want my unused $4000 returned from these crooks. I have always loved toyotas but these men are lying crooks.
