In December of 2023 I received an X-ray of my lungs since I am an ex smoker. Delaware imaging told me they would need to collect a copay of $148.11. Which I paid, they then sent me a bill in January asking for an additional $297.89. I called high mark blue cross and they told me that Delaware I’maging was using the wrong code for payment. Every month Delaware imaging has been sending me a bill and every month I have called them they say they are looking into it. Today I called and spoke to a “supervisor” name patience and was told again it would be expedited but my insurance needs to call them. Insurance will not call the Dr’s for billing issue the company is supposed to call the insurance company for the correct code if they don’t know it. I am now getting bills threatening to turn me to collections when all this company needs to do is code it correctly I feel like I am getting the run around every month. Just wait it takes time. Mean while they have my $148.11 and I am wasting my valuable time calling every month, sitting on hold 10-15 minutes by the time I hang up I have an hour into the call. My insurance said this is a preventative and they will pay the bill 100%. I just don’t think anyone is following up and they don’t want to refund my money. You can’t even talk to anyone at Delaware imaging. They have another company doing their billing!
