This dog was sold to me as a purebred Shetland Sheepdog in which he is not 100% He's only 85% He was sold to me as an AKC registered Shetland Sheepdog with full rights. Allie the store owner come to find out doesn't care what she sells she will sell mix bred dogs as purebred.

I told ********* on 4/30/24 when she stopped in the store to send me the DNA test and I would see what I could do. Instead she sent the info to BBB. Now that I have looked into this, ********* is outside of her 6 month hereditary warranty. I could not guarantee the breeder would have done anything anyway because we do not sell puppies for breeding or show purposes. I have attached the warranty that ********* signed saying this. Pet Kare bought the puppy as an AKC puppy and there for sold it as an AKC puppy. We do not do DNA testing. It's not that we don't care. We don't need to know if they are breeding quality. We sell puppies as companion pets only. Also, ********* already got a large discount when she purchased the puppy because, at the time, her mother worked for Pet Kare.

If she wants to move forward with this, the AKC papers will be pulled on that litter and possibly the parents of that puppy as well. If the parents AKC status is removed, every litter those dogs sired will also be affected. This is an AKC dispute. She will have to contact them.

I dispute this I was sold a Shetland Sheepdog puppy I should have a 100% purebred not a mixed bred dog. This pup was sold to me as a purbred he infact is not. I would like a full refund for the price of the pup.

I don't mind if the AKC papers are pulled the dog doesn't belong having papers anyway nor she he have been sold as a purebred. Allie can take the dog back and refund my money. I don't expect full cooperation from Alison Brown as she recommended I keep my mouth shut and just register puppies knowing they aren't purebred. She also told me she doesn't understand why breeders dna test sires and dams. I let her know it's to better the breed and to guarantee the health of the puppies I could get sued if someone purchased a pup and it came back not purebred or genetically sick.

We apologize if you feel the dog you purchased is no longer a pure breed dog in your mind because it shares DNA with other breeds. In fact, even the website Embark you used for the DNA tests says that a dog that shares DNA with other dogs is still considered purebred. You were sold a registered purebred dog and the DNA test does not affect that in any way. Attached is a screenshot from the Embark website stating just that. We were in no way negligible and did sell you a purebred dog. Your dog is and always has been a registered purebred dog plain and simple.

We are devastated. And worse, our dog seems different. We dropped our standard poodle off around 12 pm and specifically asked for nail filing and teddy bear face. We even stopped by during her grooming to check on her, however , the groomer wouldn’t even come out to speak with us. We were told we couldn’t see our dog because it could cause her to get too excited. Finally, we’re called at almost 6 pm to pick up our dog and she was completely bald. They shaved all her hair off. Without so much as a call or quick consultation to inform us of their reasons. When asked to speak to the groomer, we were told she left because she had to pick up her kids. And told it took so long because their assistant quit and they were running behind. We can only assume this was a rush job. I know for a fact that her facial hair wasn’t matted because the night before I combed it out myself in preparation for her appointment because I didn’t wanna hear anything about her not being able to get the cut we asked for. At any point when the service requested is deviated from, there should be a call. Also, her nails are still sharp as tacks.

Dogs are very sensitive to their owner and their feelings. If your dog is acting funny, he could be responding to your emotions. Your dog was here for 6 hours because He's a large breed and was very matted. It takes a lot of time to shave any dog that's matted so we don't hurt them, it takes even more time when they are large. We don't have any problem with you stopping in. We, however, won't stop the groomer from working this would make the day longer for everyone. It does also cause dogs to get excited when they see or hear their owner which makes it more difficult to get the dog to stay still. You could have peeked back there, the top half of the door is open for this reason. We would not have stopped you. You are correct, you should have been given a call if the groomer could not give the hair cut you requested. That is why you we offered you a portion of your money back. We also offered for you to bring the dog in to fix anything that you were unhappy with.

I was never offered a portion of anything back  as a matter of fact, I was told the service was still provided therefore I will not refunded any of my money  I was called a racial slur when  I insisted  I was kicked out and had the cops called on me. And now I’m being harassed via my social media page by your employees.

Your dog was extremely matted when it came into the store and there was no saving the coat. Our groomer spent 6 hours on the groom when he usually spends 3 hours tops on most difficult cases. You were only charged $90 for a groom that should have been around $120 with a dog in that condition.  Services were rendered and unfortunately there is nothing more we are willing to offer on this matter.
