We put a sweet puppy on hold today..my husband offered to pay for him but she said they don’t take payments over the phone. we were told we had to pick him up by 2:30.. I arrived after work by 2pm only to find out that girl sold him out from under us!! And that coward left before I got there leaving her very kind coworker to break the news to me and answer for her. The manager said it’s not policy to put dogs on hold and she shouldn’t have done that.. BUT SHE DID! And that awful girl should have stuck to her word!! They seriously just let me show up there ready and excited to take home my dog! We are heartbroken.Review from Ginger R

I went into petkare II yesterday (September 16, 2022) and was looking at the puppies. I was able to look at one puppy and we bond like no other. I told the guy that I want to purchase her. He went to get the paperwork to start the process. He comes back to me and tells me that she was on hold for someone, but they have signs back at where the puppies are for you to have playtime and it said we do not hold puppies. I talked to the manager and he said that he is very sorry but she was on hold and the people where on their way in. He also said that they where coming from a distance. I said your sign right there says you don't hold puppies anymore. He said I am so sorry. I was like this is unfair because we bonded and I was ready to purchase her right than and there. He was like I am so sorry. I than said if your going to go against what y'all sign says than y'all should have never posted it. I never had a problem with them until yesterday. This is so unacceptable and they where not sorry. They saw how her and I bonded. If y'all are going to post signs than y'all should adhere to y'all's own signs and not do whatever you want.Review from Morgan B.

The dogs are over priced being more than even good breeders prices they look like they come from a puppy mill, it's pretty ridiculous you need to pay to interact with them. The staff are quick to assume your up to no good but are slow to help. They have given wrong and harmful care instructions on reptile care the list just goes on and on

I'll try to address each issue in order. Our puppy prices are right inline with most breeders. The price on everything has risen this includes puppies. You saying they come "look like" from a "puppy mill" is your opnion and you're entitled to it. We charge to interact with the puppies for many reasons. Mostly, we have had puppies stolen and hurt many times. Now, we have someone stand and make sure the puppies are handled correctly and don't walk out the door. The more people take out the puppies, the less time that employee has to take care of them. We have to pay that person to stand there and babysit. This costs us a lot of time and money. We do this so that only people truly interested in buying are going to take them out. If the staff did not ask you if you needed help, I deeply apologize for that. As a small business customer service is our top priority. "quick to assume your up to no good" That's just a sign of the times. If you come back in and hear someone giving " harmful care instructions" please let management know. If you're correct we need to inform the customer before they leave and make sure the employee gets the knowledge he/she needs so it doesn't happen again. This company is bad. We got 2 puppies from them both was sick and costed a lot to get better. One had kennel cough that took 6 weeks to cure and the other one got kennel cough that turned into pneumonia and took 6 months to get better. To be in a situation where they don’t care about quality only quantity and now we have put one down because no one will help and he is attacking humans. This is one bad business that doesn’t care about the animals or customers. They only care about money. Also like to add the English bulldog we got at 1 year old has hip dysplasia. Don’t but a puppy from them.
