      I purchased airline tickets through travel agency and flight was canceled. I asked for a refund and was told the refund was processed. I called the airline, my card was not refunded, but another card was. I called the agency and was told the refund already posted on my account, but it was not. I confirmed with my bank that no refund has been issued.

      This person is not at all being honest.  The person booked airline tickets through us. The airline them canceled a portion of their trip.  I called them to offer them alternatives and she was rude and vulgar

        She called me the next day to "apologize " for her terrible behavior.  I had to place her on hold.  When I got back on call she freaked out on me again and asked for the full refund I had gave her as an alternative.   again being rude and terrible.  I immediately called my airline reps and told them to cancel and refund 

       

      She called me again a few minutes later demanding that I send her "proof of cancelation".   I told her my word was her proof and she would get a full refund back to her card.   She called me 7 more times in the next 24 hours demanding her refund or proof.  I told her same thing each time until the last call where she said "I called the airline and they told me you did ask for a refund and I have to go through to you and you need to refund me and you said 3 days and I need my money."  I responded "I told you up to two weeks.  I have no control of the refund.  we didn't charge you a dime it was all charged by the airline and they have already processed the refund request.  You really have to stop calling me and disrupting"... she started yelling and again being abusive so I hung up.   Her money has already been refunded to her card as I verified with airline.  she is lying if she continues to claim its not.  Trust me we want to be done with the rude and abusive person.

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

      I am writing in response to complaint ID 18542478. The issue has not been resolved, the response from the business is not true. I was charged by the travel agency, not the airline, I can provide a copy of my bank statement to confirm. I requested a refund on 12/5/22 and was told American Airlines takes up to two weeks to issue refund, I requested and was denied  proof that he requested a refund. On 5/12/22 I confirmed with the airline that a refund had already been issued to his card. I did not call the agency multiple times a day, as he claims. I called once on 11/26, once on 11/28, and I called twice on 12/5 because he hung up on me. It has been more than 2 weeks since I requested my refund and the airline confirmed that a refund was issued to his card over a week ago.       This woman is delusional.  I have phone records to prove how many times she has called us.  She called again two more times on 12/21/2022  once at 4:22PM and then again at 4:23PM.  She called us 4 times on the 30th alone. and others since then.

       

      the money was paid DIRECTLY to her by the airline on HER card ending in 3302.  NOT to us.  

       

      Per the airline:

      As per our phone call refund was processed on NOV30,2022 and it was reported thru ARC on Dec06.2022 it will take 2-4week to be credited to her Visa ending with 3302 exp 01/25 the amount of 841.17.
      copy of the ticket shows the stats refund.

      FYI – ARC is the governing body for all airlines for money in and out.   As you can see each of the 4 legs of flights have RFND next to it showing that each one was refunded.

      Again is was refunded DIRECTLY back to her card ending in 3302.  Not to us in any way.  Directly to her.   They are saying it may have already appeared on her card on the 20th or it could be the 27th but the refund was already processed by the airline.
      We have nothing to do with it at all.
