    Milo received inhumane wound care and treatment following a sarcoma removal on April 28th that led to a completely preventable amputation on May 8th caused by the hands of *** ******* *** ****** *** *** ******* from Glasgow VCA. I trusted Loving Touch Animal Clinic with my baby's life for the last 5 years and now he's a tripawd. The care received has been horrific, mentally and emotionally damaging, this has been the most brutal and unbelievable situation I've ever endured.I called the vet several times in between appointments voicing my concerns. I made the decision to take my baby to an emergency hospital after being treated like a test experiment for 8 days post. After arriving home from a bandage change Saturday he was so lethargic, his paw was 3x the size, his leg was leaking fluid. It was found Milo had a severe infection, severe swelling and dying tissue; Dr. ****** sent me home that day and told me it didn't look infected. Dr. ****** was left to care for Milo and is a completely inexperienced vet. During 4 different visits she was left by herself to text Dr. ******* and "the medical director" for Milo's appointments because she didn't know what to do for Milo. Had I not intervened as his pet parent, my baby by now would either be dead of a narcotic overdose or sepis. The care he recived was completely inhumane. I had my doubts but was trusting my baby in the Loving Touch of professionals. Dr. ****** needs to go back to vet care 101 to identify an infection and how to provide wound care and learn how to speak confidentially and professionally. Dr. ****** needs to evaluate herself a proud business owner with a baby doctor under her because this is horrific and 100% avoidable. Once Dr. **** *********** left, so should of we. This $1400 surgery, turned into an additional $600 of medicine while under the care of Loving Touch Animal Clinic. Milo's emergency hospital visit and amputation was $7700. Plus pain and suffering.

    'Just the Facts' with 'Accountability' ... ?? The Care is Average in Quality: As you all know, a pet is literally a family member who is loved, cared-for and much needed. Our cat is approximately 14 years old and his overall health good, for his age. I agree with the posting made by Tina Hunt; Specifically, they focus on quantity and NOT quality. ?? Fees and Cancellation Policy are Questionable: The appointment cancellation policy is 48 hours. Everywhere else you go, there is a reasonable cancellation of appointment time, of 24 hours. This is the only business in our entire region, which has a 48 hour cancellation of appointment policy. What kind of logistical burden would they have, to receive an appointment cancellation within 24 hours? Why does their cancellation policy need to be an excessive, 48 hours? This is obviously designed to be in the best interest, of the business and not the customer. ?? One of the Counter Clerks was Unreasonable, on ‘Two’ Occasions: Life happens, I called over 24 hours of a threshold, to change an appointment and I was unable to change it. Additionally, in order for me to make a new appointment, the 'demanding receptionist' required I pay their cancellation fee immediately. I proposed making the payment, prior too the new appointment date; however, this was not acceptable. Yet again, another example of a business practice to benefit the interest of the business and not the 'reasonable convenience' of the customer. ?? After COVID the Main Lobby Access was Severely Delayed: We are now way-beyond COVID and until recently, they continued to restrict customer access to their main Lobby.
