I had a dental appointment last July with this practice, where I've been a patient for 50 years. Although over the years the staff has changed I've always felt this was a safe space for me when i needed help. Despite informing them about my fear of doctors due to PTSD and my tendency to panic and leave appointments, they failed to handle my situation with care and understanding. During my visit, they informed me of a serious dental infection but when I panicked and left, they dismissed me from the practice without proper explanation or communication. Despite repeatedly trying to reach them for clarification, I was met with unresponsiveness. The only answer i got, the one time I got through was that it was because I said "I was going to the streets for pain control, something i never said. What I said was "Thank God I found kratom tea (which is NOT an illegal substance in Delaware) so I DON'T have to go to the streets for pain control". Drs don't treat pain these days, it's a trigger for me when they don't even offer or have concern with pain, even though I no longer need them for my pain. Their lack of empathy and communication has left me terrified to seek dental care elsewhere. It's appalling that they would dismiss a long-time patient in distress without proper explanation or support. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone.
