      Took my car into the KIA service center on 05/20/2024, to have the check engine light checked. I spoke with a representative BEFORE handing over my keys and asked about my warranty on the car and if it covered the type of issue (timing belt) that my car is dealing with. While speaking to the rep, he advised that I had coverage for power-train warranty for 10 years -100,000 miles or less on the car. I asked if it specifically covered the timing belt, he said he's sure it does. Well, I got a call from the rep shortly after stating that he needed a paper trail of the maintenance on the car because i haven't had my car serviced at the KIA since 2018 (not true). I advised him that my car has definitely been serviced at Lee's Auto Care in New Castle, DE 19720. The rep advised me to bring the receipts and any bank statements, if I have done the oil changes myself. I got a call from the service manager, **** ********s, whom left a message on my voicemail stating that he would not take the receipts from Lee's Auto Care nor my bank statements. Before returning his phone call, I contacted KIA Consumer, just to make them aware that I may be encountering a problem with KIA service center and my warranty. KIA consumer called the dealership and advised them that I was processing a complaint against the company. When I called the KIA dealership back and spoke to **** ********s, he stated the receipts has to show the VIN and mileage for your car. I advised him that I can go to the company and see if they can print it out from their system. He stated he was not taking the receipts AT ALL. Three different people, including the representative from KIA consumer said that I can use them. He said, "HE" would not accept the receipts and that was his final answer. Alan was very rude, very bias, and very belligerent when speaking with me over the phone. Didn't give me a reason why he wouldn't take the receipts provided. He told me to get my car serviced elsewhere! All calls are recorded.

      This complaint is about their Repair Shop: I bought my Subaru Crosstrek 2021 from this dealership along with the maintenance (changing oil & filters). I went there on 4/13/2024 and they informed me that they replaced all the filters and changed oil. Two days after when I was changing my battery, my mechanic pulled out the air filter and it was dirty... they never changed it but did charge me! This place is a SCAM! Do not go there unless you can monitor them personally to see that they actually change something in your car. I am very disappointed and lost faith in branded dealerships.
