    Hired HomeStar Remodeling on May 19, 2021, to install a new roof, siding, gutters, windows and two entry doors. Roof was installed in mid to late July of 2021. Siding and windows began in late October of 2021 (Jose's crew). Entry doors were installed late December of 2021 by Yuri. I am missing an entire screen in one window since October 25th and still has not been replaced. I have spray paint from one of Jose's crew (Tony) spray painting my vent and now it won't open and there is spray paint all over the siding inside the J channel and near the trim of my window. I was told this would be fixed and it has not been. The metal work is shoddy to say the least. I was told this would be fixed by David from Majestic who has over 30 years' experience this would be fixed. I was told I would get a new slab for the damaged door. The corners of my trim around my windows outside are not done properly because there are large holes visible in the mitered joints. There is a tear in my siding from when they installed, and this has not been fixed. There is no insulation around my pipes from the new siding install. I was told I would get a new backing for the front light. I was told I would get new down spouts since the ones they took off were damaged in the process. I was told that the other screens that were damaged during the install would be replaced. The casings, trim, and sills in the bathroom and kitchen have not been replaced as per contract. The siding is warped above my back door. I was told to wait until the project was complete to voice my concern by Tim the VP of Sales. One of my windows is cracked from installation. David from Majestic promised if I paid that he would keep his word. Their motto is you don't pay until you are satisfied, and I am not satisfied. They extended their work so that my loan could expire and put me up against a wall. Nothing has been resolved and there was no final walk through after the job was installed.

    After waiting 17 weeks (despite being told 7-10 weeks) for our new front door, two windows and three sets of shutters, the company arrived for install the other day with no shutters, the wrong windows and a door that was smaller than promised. Since then, we can't get anyone to call us back to explain what happened, the location of the windows we actually ordered or when we'll get them. Customer service has lacked this entire process, we never received the design comps we were promised, and we are extremely disappointed and frustrated with HomeStar. To invest as much money as we have in these products and be given the wrong order—and an incomplete at that—is unacceptable! The only saving grace has been the two gentlemen who did the install, who were very professional and apologetic for the mistakes, even though they had no answers as to what happened.
