Gutter Helmet of Central Florida was recommended by our roofing company, Universal Roofing. We signed the contract with Gutter Helmet on 7/28/2021 and the installation was in August 2021. There is a section in the order form (attached) which shows that New gutters will be warranted for life, labor and material. The gutters by the front door have been leaking for about a year. We surface cleaned them, but have not wanted to disassemble to void warranty. In September 2023, I called *********************** and he asked me to text my address and he would send someone that day. I have been seeking resolution since then with a lot of runaround. I have not called because I needed this documented. I have attached the text communications about this issue. We have other issues with the installation and consider the job unfinished, as there are still pieces of the old gutters on our house; however the primary concern is the leaking which needs to be resolved before we invest thousands of dollars into new pavers at the front of our house. While ***** has at least responded to texts, I don't trust that he has any intention of resolving this issue. I am seeking completion of the job and full resolution under the warranty within the next three weeks.Customer response

On 3/28/22 we signed a contract with Gutter Helmet (*********************************************************************************************** 32714).The job was to install new gutters and new Gutter Helmet guards. We paid a 50% deposit of $3,650. The Gutter Helmet work was delayed due to supply chain issues that delayed our roof tile and skylight materials. Around 8/1/22, we were told by ***** at Gutter Helmet that they were filing for bankruptcy, and that they would not be able to provide the work or materials in our contract. We are requesting the refund of our deposit, $3,650. Thank you.Initial Complaint

1/7/22 Installed gutters on roof in back and sides. paid $950.00. Company name Gutter Helmet, Gutter Protection Systems of Central Florida. The gutters were not properly installed, water running between roof and gutters. I have called a number of times and have left messages but no response. Contract states that new gutters will be warranted for life. Need problem fixed. Thank youInitial Complaint

Gutter Helmet of Central Florida, Inc. 871 Sunshine Ln Ste 101 Altamonte Springs, FL 32714-3903 http://www.gutterhelmet.com/dealers/florida/altamonte-springs/gutter-helmet-of-central-florida (407) 682-3939 This company took a deposit to replace my gutters back in May. The day in June they were to start the job they can out and stated that they could not do the work. Called into the office that day to request the return of my deposit. Four week later and no refund. Called 8/12/2022 the office told me that they would have someone call me back. Still no refund I was told that they filed bankruptcy and they couldn't pay or return my money.
