On 1/13/23 I hired this company to cut and remove 2 tree's. On 1/18/23 they came out and cut one tree and 1/3 of the other. They said it would take them 1 day. 3 days later they finally finished, after damaging my roof. The bid was to cut and REMOVE all the tree debris. They insisted I pay them in full so " they could pay their workers", and that they would return in a few days to complete the job. I've called and left messages, because they won't answer their phone's. It's been 2 weeks and the tree is still in my yard. I have cut and burned a large chunk and had a couple of people haul some off, but still have most still laying in my yard. I paid them $2350 and now have to pay someone else to finish the job.Initial Complaint

To start with, they will leave trash all over your yard. The only reason it was (partially) picked up is because I had to call/message and complain about it. Secondly, they will tell you that they are licensed and have "great" insurance. They'll even send you a screenshot of the insurance they hold. Regardless of the size of your tree, what they won't tell you is that their insurance coverage only covers trees that are up to 50ft high and 16" in diameter and if they do cause damage to your home, they don't want to file a claim because it will affect their rate.Thus, leading up to this complaint, they damaged my roof, claimed that they had someone with experience fixing minor damages and they wanted a chance to fix it themselves before filing a claim. The woman in charge said she went out and got "supplies" to make the fix, which was 100% a lie and the man who did the work clearly did not have any idea what he was doing and was just s******* drywall nails and random wood pieces in to try and make it better, but in all honesty, it looks worse.I had to go around them, file a claim with their insurance myself, only to find out that it isn't even covered. I made them aware of this on multiple occasions, gave them quite a few chances to make things right one way or another and they've avoided the situation completely making empty promises.
