I had reached out to phone customer service where they stated they would replace my 25W UV bulb that was less than 3 weeks old. I was sent to a rep named ******************************* where I had to re provide all of my information and was then denied bulb replacement after I was already told it was approved. I would need to provide frequently email reminders of status of my case and then I would be randomly asked for more and more information which I had already provided. At this point I simply want my replacement ******* 25W UV bulb so my fish tank can be plumbed properly.Initial Complaint

I had my pool installed and the pool company used Pentair system. Installation was completed in May 2022. Since installation, we've had issues with the system. We either cannot control the system and/or system disconnects and then unable to connect. We have escalated the issue with the installer and Pentair and were told that we need a stronger wifi. Between June 2023 to now, we have changed our wifi 4 times and bought different extenders 3 x. None of which works. They had people come here and tried to fix but it goes back to the same issue. For the past 2 months, this system is not connected and is under service mode. A service order was again sent to only state they can't fix since Pentair sent the wrong part. That has been 3 weeks now. I've been asked to provide wifi login so they can troubleshoot remotely but yet nothing has worked. the part that was supposedly was ordered has yet not arrived as we found out it was not ordered. To date, this pool is still not functioning. We paid a great deal of money for this pool and system and this company has been non responsive now. There has been no update to this supposed part that was ordered as priority by Pentair. Since this system is not at 100% capacity, it can lead to some growth in the pool which then will result in additional cost to us. I need Pentair to respond and fix the issue once and for all.Customer response

Bought residential water purification system two years ago. Added clorox bleach system to it one year ago. It seems what is taken out of the water by the clorox system is clogging up the pipes to the rest of the system. Had to have a plumber to cut out those pipes and bypass the clorox solution because it was causing very low water pressure and possibly other problems. Pictures were sent and I have been trying to talk to someone for over a month but no one will answer the phone or return my calls for any message left.Initial Complaint

I installed a Intellichlor IC-40 May 21, 2021 in my pool and last week of April 2023, it doesn't work, the cell light just blinks. I maintain my pool chemistry within their standards, I clean every two months. The cell shows 60% life left but won't produce chlorine. The representative basically said don't follow a pool service center recommendations, follow theirs which I do. But Pentair won't stand by their product warranty of 2 years from first day in service. Since I bought a few months before pool season opened because my other salt cell stopped working after 3 seasons with 40% life showing. They are denying my warranty. I would not recommend Pentair products. The manufacturer date is 08/2020, installed May 2021.
