On June 28, 2023, a 3 person crew exercised gross negligence and dropped our chandelier from a height of almost 20 feet and destroyed many original crystals and caused other chandelier damage. Additionally, they have a put lien on our property for the fraudulent amount of $2700 which was never agreed upon. We have tried to work with them to resolve this amicably and initially agreed to have them repair the chandelier. However, we have no trust in them anymore and we are not sure what would happen if they once again cause some damage while on our property. We would not let them enter our property again. Also, we are not sure who will honor the warranty for the service call and any repairs subsequently undertaken.

Our daily rate for 1 electrician is $900/day. We were called to repair the broken chandelier as the bottom tiers were not turning on. While my 3 technicians were on site the customer repeatedly approached each of my technicians to perform work on their house without the company and they would pay them on the side as unlicensed and uninsured electricians. They also repeatedly asked for discounts prior to the incident. I can attach sworn affidavits from each of my technicians whom are willing to speak with anyone and affirm this if it is necessary. While repairing the chandelier the decorative pieces of the chandelier, 70 in total, fell and chipped or broke. My technicians finished the repairs to the chandelier to make the bottom tiers functioning. The 3 technicians were there for 8 hours for this repair. Then back at the office we examined the pieces and found replacements and had them expedited to the office and scheduled a repair to replace the pieces at no additional costs. In addition to this we offered to honor a discounted price of $1,070.00 versus the $2,700 for 3 electricians a full day and to repair at no additional costs to the customer. Once they received the bill they canceled the already scheduled and agreed to repair to the portion we damaged and demanded that they not pay for the original repair at all on the chandelier or they were going to pursue legal actions against us. We offered the discounted rate again and explained that we are still willing to come out and fix the chandelier at no cost and they can schedule that at anytime, but if they refused the discounted rate again which was below my costs of the repair that I would have to revert back to the full costs of my daily manpower for 3 men. They again refused to pay anything and again refused the free repair demanding not to pay anything for the original service. At this point it was apparent they were just not willing to pay anything so we reverted back to our daily rate and filed as required per florida law. We still to this day have everything ready to replace the 70 damaged crystals at no cost to the customer. There is nothing contingent upon them accepting this free repair other than them letting us complete it.
