      In March I order a SF1 golf driver and a golf ****** video for $339 which I paid, order number 5235760FL. On April 17 I was billed $536.43 for a Champion Pass which I did not order and on April 21 I was billed $31.18 for I do not know. They said I verbally ordered the Champion Pass which I did not knowingly do. Performance Golf does not answer their support line, tried numerous times. I emailed them they responded that the issue would be elevated to higher authority and they would respond and they have not. I emailed numerous times. I think this is a scam and should be investigated. I did not order this package and do not want it.

      Hello *****, I do believe that you have my company mixed up with someone else.  We are a local golf cart company that only sells Golf Carts, Parts, and Accessories, along with servicing golf carts. We have no affiliation with any company besides our own which is Performance Golf Carts in **********, ******* and the only thing we ship out of state is golf carts.

      I bought a Golf Cart in July of 2021, this cart has been back and forth for maintenance 12-15 times in those months, under warranty from ICON , however I bought it from Performance Plus Golf Carts in Auburndale, FL in August of 2021 the cart went in for an Acid leak that was on my driveway and in the cart, I was told nothing was found , this went on several times, in the mean time the suspension had issues too, I was told "nothing found" although they kept aligning the cart, only to find out in Sept of 2022 the cart for suspension had to go back to the manufacturer for an entire new front end PER Icon (Tony) , Performance had to replace a leaking battery (2 separate Batteries) during this at 2 different visits on which this was not done properly which has caused further electrical issues, I was told by Dave through email that unless I did a $99.00 maintenance yearly they would discontinue the 2 year Bumper to Bumper warranty from Icon, I called Icon and they stated that was not true all new Icons come with a 2 year warranty. Now today 10/28 , icon told me they would have perfomance bring over my cart , not 5 minutes later Dave from Performance called and said they will not take it to Icon because they can fix it there, I said no you have had over 13 months of in and out and constant complaints about the battery issues they were never fixed , Dave told me on recorded line that if I wanted Icon to get it I would have to pay for it , even know it's under Warranty and they haven't been doing it right anyway, I have told them just buy the cart back or trade it properly financially , they won't because they don't want it (they know it's an issue) , on 9/21/22 on a recorded line I have David the previous GM telling me they "should have" taken care of ALL of this Last year!!! This cart needs to be replaced by Performance once and for all, please help

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/02) */ Mr. Norris cart was delivered 7/15/21 We have picked the cart up a total of 6 times since purchased. 8/24 we picked up cart to install seats that customer had specially ordered and we fixed paint issues from a month after delivery for customer. on 12/8/21 we picked up cart to install grab handles customer wanted installed on cart, and he stated alignment was off. We fixed free of charge even though it is not covered under warranty. on 8/5/21 we replaced run tow switch. 1/6/22 we brought cart in customer stated their was issue with his tires wearing, we again fixed alignment and swapped 2 new tires for customer even though was not under warranty. 8/20/22 we replaced one battery under warranty due to over tightened, we took cart to icon to see if they seen something we did not with customers front end, they stated they did not but went ahead and changed the front end parts to make cusotmer happy. 9/20 we warranted another battery under warranty since customer stated it was bubbling even though we could not get it to duplicate. We now have cart again, and are testing batteries. A yearly maintenance has not been done to date to help prevent issues so we are doing this now. There is no need to take the cart to icon to have them check battery issues they are not in the local area and if there is no issue we would have to charge for delivery. We have offered to buy back the customers cart however the customer did not like the buy back price. In conclusion we have picked up customers cart 6 times from 07/24/21 2 of the times were for added accessories. We have tried everything to help fix this customers dislikes on the golf cart, and have taken care of every warranty issue, Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) snow proor or ere maccuracy arra rare responded. Pictures of all invoices included I purchased the cart on 7/12/21, at that time I was told it would be a couple of days before delivery due to detailing and making sure all was OK with the cart. The cart came to me on 7/14/21 and as you see the email FROM 7/14/21 to the Sales "Manager" Tim, there were issues with the cart on DAY ONE, (not 30 days later as stated in response) (See Pics) No detailing was done at all, Paint was missing in several spots, torn seats. As you see on Invoice 341532 DATED 8/3/2021-8/4/2021, NOT AS STATED 8/24/21, It went in for the "run tow switch" which went bad and my cart could not move at all, the driver came to pick up the cart and had to call in the shop because he could not get it to move at all, As you can see on the invoice LINE 1: Paint Issues were brought up and Leaking from Under the cart " Other than water from the top" THE ONLY WATER IS IN THE BATTERIES with Acid. Driver took Pics of Acid on driveway under cart!!! Cart Gone 5 total days NEXT time in was less than 20 days, invoice********, first to install hand stitched seats and the Handicapped grab handles for my 82-year-old mother, As in Item 4 finally addressing what was found on the delivery on 7/14/22, AND ITEM 6 "WE OWE HIM A FULL DETAIL" I!!!! which was still never completed, Paint Issues, a crack in the windshield. So not just handles. Cart in for 5 days Invoice *******, in for the other Grab Handle, and as on invoice a Front End Alignment because I told driver it stll wasn't going straight (See pic of tires bowed out) Cart in for 2 days Next invoice ******back in less than 25 days later for front tires completely worn down and car not going straight, AS SHOWN BuT stated in response (not under warranty) #5 installed 2 new tires "WARRANTY" #6 Another Alignment NEEDED "WARRANTY", this is when I was tired of waiting and listening to excuses about items I ordered on 7/12/21 over $1100. Cart cover and Rain shield roll out see email dated 7/28/21 was told they would be in 8/20/21, never came in and I found others for under $300. Total, Tim sales manager at first said because they were ordered no refunds, After much debate they sent me a check for the refund. Cart in for 15 days Next invoice ******, I had reached a "total frustration and Loss of hope in resolution" at this phase, as Invoice states front 2 tires wearing out terribly, cart WILL NOT drive straight and rides like a bus, batteries are leaking all over driveway and in cart acid all over battery area and post, I offered to Trade cart, buy back OR FIX once and for all.... INVOICE states Line #3 Needs Alignment (AGAIN), Needs 2 front tires (AGAIN) needs 1 battery and the hold down rod due to SEVERE CORROSION ( i.e... ACID) Body has lots of scratches and chipped paint on sides and rear and has been repainted (their touch up job from earlier), Line #5 Replaced 1 battery, 2 tires and did Alignment (UNDER WARRNTY) which their response says not under warranty. Cart came back to me with a bent key and a broken key switch, driver was shown and took pic, Cart gone for 7 days Next Invoice ******, Cart back in on 9/20/22 for Alignment / Tire wear / Battery leaking and cart is thumping when driving at 10-15 MPH, and to fix key and switch they broke an never told me about. At this time I talked with Tim (Sales Manager) about buying back cart and he stated they weren't interested in it and all IF he could get the owner to do it was to maybe buy it for $4000. Less than I bought it for, I asked him to check on another Offer I countered, and he stated I would be better off selling it myself as they really didn't want it, and I told him of course you know it has issues and I cant sell it morally or ethically knowing its issues. David the GM stated he would make sure it was taken care of once and for all "NO matter what it took" (this all is on taped conversation) he also stated after going through all my previous emails and invoices this should have been "taken care of in the first month" should have never reached this point. As seen on the invoice they replaced Key and switch and One more Battery and 2 tires per David (not swapped) and as PER INVOICE UNDER WARRANTY (Not like their response states) I asked about the Thumping and the driving it bumping he stated he didn't feel it would I come in and drive it with him, I explained between 10-15 MPH it did that he said they drove it at 30 MPH and it wasn't, so I went in 2 days later and he admitted to me at that point he was able to get it to go bumpy on the road BUT their hands were tied as they had exhausted all they could do, SO they had to send it to ICON in Tampa, 2 days later it went to Icon for over a week, Icon told me they replaced from the steering column to the wheels on down and aligned it properly, after Performance had it for 16 days it came back, I tested it and told the driver it was still bumpy and not straight, he informed me they REaligned it right before it came back to me, I called in to Cameron (it was a Saturday at 11:30) he stated he would get with the Owner on Monday and call me back as to what they would do BUT REST ASSURED IT WILL BE FIXED just "drive it over the weekend", So I did, Monday came NO CALL, I called Tuesday only to be told by Cameron "they were done and would not take it back in or warranty it anymore" LATEST is they have had the cart since October 24th as the electric panel gave up and cart stopped driving with my 82 year old mother on it with me, had to have neighbors push it into my driveway, I called and spoke to another Dave and after he said to charge it for 2 hours and call him back (of which I did) and he was not there when I called back, I called the It, it went in they had itor d week berore looking at it, i called ICON and explained what was going on and that Performance stated they had no Idea what Icon did to the cart and was told by Tony that's not true they have to know, Performance through email said it was on me to get paperwork from ICON on what was done, after speaking with Icons Warranty dept they stated the batteries should have been drained to ALL be charged properly to match the new ones, Icon stated they would have the cart brought in, Performance refuses to take the cart to them stating it was on me to pay for the delivery as warranty isn't covering this, a lot of calls and emails and taped conversations happened and performance has the cart and has not returned it as of yet and found a 3rd battery damaged, ICON authorized replacement of all 6 batteries under warranty, BUT now performance has not called me and will not give me explanations of what is happening, they also stated they would cancel the warranty as I did not pay them for a one year $99.00 maintenance on the cart that they have had all these times and NEVER stated or did anything before as they have had this cart for over a total of 16 months in the SHOP FOR 47+ DAYS. I have included all proof of what is stated as of 7/14/21 "DELIVERY of my BRAND NEW cart", THEIR INVOICES STATE ALL WORK WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY !!!! WHY DIDN'T OR DON'T THEY JUST DO RIGHT BY THE CUSTOMER AND BUY THE CART BACK FOR TOTAL COST AND NOW ANYTHING I PUT IN IT TOO!!!! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/11/08) */ Customer was not happy with the detail we did.. so again we were accommodating and told him we would detail again next time it came in. Detailing the cart is no where within the warranty guidelines. To address the "torn seat" there was a small spot on one seat. Which customer was getting custom seats which would be swapped. To address the run tow switch we brought cart in Aug to switch the faulty one out under warranty. We checked for leak there were no leaks for us. (this can also happen if you over fill the water in the batteries) To address the paint issues The paint issues were on top of roof. We fixed windshield under warranty even though it was a month after delivery and was not there time of delivery. We had to adjust alignment again yes which should not have been under warranty since it is not a warranty item. But to make customer happy we did!! There were no parts nothing that made the cart go out of alignment on our end or the manufacture end of the cart. To address the rain enclosure the manufacture was on back order for 9+ months. Yes I refunded since they hadn't made it yet so we refunded customer, and yes enclosures for a long roof cart is expensive but customer was fully aware at time of purchase! Customer cart has scratches not due to us nor when it was delivered. Also we delivered cart with a light up bracket license plate which is no longer there looks like it had been in a wreck. Will attach photos of all this as well. Key switch was replaced under warranty it could have happened if someone's knee hit it while getting in or out of cart. To address the bumpy ride still Cameron spoke to him on Monday because customer called first thing Monday and he was asking what we were going to do. We told him that Icon has already changed the entire front end there was nothing else we could do (which we drove the cart and it drove like every other icon on our lot) Icon did not give us a paper of what was done. If customer wants that paper they may call icon.. We do not have it. To sum this up customer has not had to pay out of pocket for any warranty work and work that shouldn't have been covered under warranty. However since we do right by our customers we taken care of all the problems even if the issue wasn't due to anything we had done. Carts will have issues from time to time however in this case down to the small issues we have taken care of and have always reacted to when the customer stated their was a problem. We have done everything for this customer to make customer happy apparently at this point there is nothing left to do to make customer happy.. There is not a bump in the drive, the front end is perfect, customer just received brand new batteries from Icon, there is nothing wrong with this cart. To just say the TOTAL lies from this company was expected as they keep stating things two different ways, first the warranty that THEY agreed to sell with the carts price was Parts only they did the labor on their agreement, IF there were no warranty issues then WHY did Icon cover "non-warranty" parts ? I have to say I resolved by the ONLY option to me that was available, they told me twice they would NOT buy back the cart for what I paid as they had a "PERFECT" (their words) cart. Well they bought back the cart that they even said looks like it was in an accident in the rear (they never shared a pic) I have shared the rear pic the day before the last trip in , SHOW ME ANY DAMAGE !!! The front windshield WAS NEVER replaced as they said and it did have several spider cracks in it. Anyway I am done with Performance Plus Golfcarts and wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a Tire from them let alone a cart. They even shorted me $200. On the total refund, but as stated by me HAPPY TO BE DONE WITH THIS "COMPANY" sad to see one can continue like this but some people don't stand up for themselves like I do and will continue to, I hate being lied to and taken advantage of, especially from companies who just think very highly of themselves.... I sent over a excel screen shot of what the total check would be to buy back his cart. I will attach so you can see. Unfortunately im guess he didnt understand the break down of the buy back? either way I gave him for what he paid. Minus 3 items a enclosure he already was refunded for previously, a storage cover that was not with the cart, and a license plate bracket holder that is no longer on the cart. We added back in the custom seats he purchased and that is the total amount of the check we wrote to him. We did right by this customer unfortunately he can not see this. We are 100% done with the customer and I can lay my head down and sleep at peace knowing we did everything and more to try to make this customer happy which goes to show you can not make every one happy!
