Date of purchase: 4/7/2023 I placed an order from Aroma Designers in April of this year for 10 bottles of scent diffuser oil. Before placing this order I purchased roughly 50 samples from Aroma Designers and made my selection based on these samples. After my order arrived I immediately noticed that the scent oils I was scent smelled almost nothing like the sample. So, I contacted customer service and requested a refund based on this. I was even willing to take the loss of the bottle I opened. However, I was told they would not refund me and that the scents they shipped didn't always smell like the samples they sell. Then why would you offer these samples, or at least not disclose they could not be the same as the products one would then purchase based on tyring them?After this, I assumed I would at least use the bottle I opened because I likely wouldn't be able to return it regardless and thought it might smell like the sample if it was used in a diffuser and not smelled directly out of the bottle. Not only did the scent still smell completely different it caused my entire home to become foggy and actually made it difficult to breathe. I was really looking forward to scenting my home with this diffuser and somewhat panicked. I called the company I purchased the diffuser from and was told this was due to the oil being of poor quality and they recommended a reputable dealer to buy new oils from. I purchased a bottle of oil from this company and now it scents my home perfectly and does not produce the fog that the inferior oil from Aroma Designers did. At the end of the day, I purchased scent samples that I'm convinced are simply from other companies (most of these scents are inspired by popular colognes, room sprays, etc), the oil I received did not smell like the sample I purchased, it caused a strange fog when used, and ultimately I was told I would not receive a refund even after all of these issues were brought to their attention.
