      Date of transaction: Service hired from INTERMAC from December 21, 2023 until January 7th, 2024 Date of emergency room situation: December 28th, 2023 Name of the insured : *************************** (my mother)My parents purchased a travel insurance that covered up to U$ ****** for emergency room and hospital bills in case of an emergency. My mother, born in February 13, 1954 had an emergency on December 28 - Her sugar levels went up and it was very very high. The ***************** teledoctor spoke to her on December 28th and advised me to take her immediately to the hospital since her life was in danger due to a high blood sugar level. I took her to ************************, located at ****************************************MRN Number ****** Account # ********* All bills and information were sent to the insurance several times, In February, in May, in June. All bills and payment information have been properly submitted via website to their claim department.All bills and information were requested and re sent to emails, whats app accounts and all they have asked but the bill has never been paid.This is a shame. This company should not remain open if they are a fraud. We need them to pay the hospital bills as already requested more than 50 times.

      I purchased the insurance from Intermac USA, policy E1536/0082589-176, through the brokerage *************************, including the payment falling into this brokerage's account on 05/13/2022.I had a serious health problem on 07/22/2022 and, practically, I had no assistance from the insurance company, except to postpone the medical assistance. I ended up having to, on my own, look for a medical emergency and pay with my own money for all the care.On 07/25/2022, I sent all the necessary documentation for the reimbursement of my first entry to the Emergency, to several emails related to the insurance company, including regarding reimbursements. This email only responds to a standard response that the claim will be assessed, but no other type of response. Through another channel, I was informed that the insurance company had a period of 30 calendar days to make the reimbursement. 30 days have passed and no refund has been made.On 07/27/2022 and on 08/02/2022, I also passed the documentation regarding my 2nd entry into the ******************** and my hospital stay. By the pattern of the first refund request, I can already deduce that they will also not fulfill the stipulated contractual term.All these facts are documented by dialogue on WhatsApp with the Intermac Assistance channel for future judicial use.In summary, this insurance company does not provide any assistance at the time of the claim and also avoids any commitment to reimburse claims paid by the customer. Run away, because this company is a shame.

      I contracted travel insurance with Intermac assistance *** LLC for our trip to ******* to see our son (a student at *********************************), I had to activate the insurance on 06/09, because my wife had severe neck pain, the insurance company directed us to the hospital near Spectrum Health in ************ **, she was seen and after a few days the **** came to the amount of **$2448.99, so we called the insurance company to make the payment, to our surprise they claimed that the case would be pre-existing disease, however, the medical report points out a stiff neck and that according to the contract signed between the parties, such a disease does not constitute a pre-existing disease, but a sudden or unforeseen disease.Therefore, I request that the insurance company make the payment with the hospital, since such a situation constitutes negligence with the client and with the contract signed between the parties.
