We purchased a brand new Chevy Silverado 5500 in October of 2020. Since the time of purchase, we have had the a.c. stop working 4 or 5 times (I've lost count). They have repaired the a.c. but never really fixed it as it keeps breaking. Now, we have a metal cooling pipe that the weld has cracked and leaked all fluids. Come to find out, after numerous phone calls and conference calls, GM knew there was an issue with this pipe and has done a redesign. Great? Not. They have not finished the redesign and give no timeframe when the new parts will be available and in the meantime have taken all current parts out of stock. So, if you have one of these trucks and the pipe cracks, you're stuck. I understand this particular issue is something that is out of Stingray's control but their service manager and branch manager give the vibe that they don't really care. They especially don't care when it comes to the a.c. issue we keep having.

Sorry you have been having issues with your 2020 Silverado 5500. You are correct, we have been having issues with the A/C hoses and the cooling pipes on those vehicles. The good news is, both of those items have been redesigned and are now available to complete these repairs. The A/C repair we made for you in June did get the newly designed A/C hose/pipe. The replacement cooling pipe has limited availability at this time, but they are in the process of getting them out to the dealerships as soon as possible. I apologize that you felt we don't care. We have been frustrated with the parts availability as much as our customers are.
