    Complaint Regarding HVAC Installation and Unethical Business Practices - ******************************* I would like to formally complain about the recent installation of a new HVAC unit at my residence located at ************************************** by Southern Coast. The entire process has been riddled with issues stemming from a critical oversight on their part, leading to failed inspections and unresolved problems. In August 2023, *********************, your sales representative, recommended a 3.5-ton unit for my house size. He assured me of its suitability. However, this larger unit has now been identified as incompatible with my existing ductwork, necessitating a costly replacement (quoted at $5,000). Crucially, this size incompatibility was never disclosed before installation. This lack of transparency and potential misrepresentation of the unit's suitability raise serious concerns about Southern Coast's business practices. Since the initial installation, over 20 technicians have visited my home, yet the core issue (unit-ductwork mismatch) remained unidentified for months. This points to a lack of communication or proper diagnosis within your company. Furthermore, during a repair attempt, a technician caused damage to my property, which has not been addressed. Despite the initial oversight being on Southern Coast's part, I am now being pressured to pay for the ductwork replacement and repairs caused by your technician. This is unacceptable and unfair. I am deeply disappointed by the entire experience and the lack of transparency and accountability demonstrated by the Southern Coast. I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution to this matter. If this is not addressed satisfactorily, I will be forced to pursue further action, which may include legal counsel and consumer protection agencies.Sincerely,

    I bought an air conditioner from them last April I had problems with it from day I I complained to them . Nothing was done I was told I only had one year on all service warranty on my unit. Now I have a unit freezing up no money to pay for repairs and paying on a loan I took out a year and 1/2 ago

    Paying on a loan to buy the unit last April. And unit evaporator cable shot it freezes up . I can't use it. It had to be serviced last summer right after installation it was freezing up . I requested something be done then. They kept shunning my complaints off. The service tech told me IAM sorry IAM with you something should be done
