Dishonest seller that doesn't disclose major mechanical issues but instead "cobs the vehicle" to get it out the door. Sold my husband a 2007 Honda Odyssey and with 48 hours, my husband called him to say it was whining. *** SEEMS to be a good guy - yeah bring it over have his mechanic look at it. So my husband did - only to be lied to and was told a BS story that "Odysseys make that noise because they are going into Eco Mode" and that *** couldn't do anything until it broke. See, *** slapped a BRAND NEW battery in the van before picking it up. Guess what was bad, the ALTERNATOR. Guess what - after my husband was told "can't do anything til it's fixed" had the car die in TRAFFIC and had to have the car towed. *** THEN still jerked him around for 3 or 4 days saying 'ill see when my mechanic can check it out' - only to then say 'no, can't help you'. After a screaming match with my husband - a day or so later *** texts him and offered a '$100 towards the alternator to help out' . I contacted him TWICE - Left one VM and also contacted him on OFFER UP which is how this creep sells cars - that way no one can make the connection to SEBASTIAN AUTO EXCHANGE and see his bad reviews or check his BBB Rating - I am filing reports/complaints with OFFER UP, BBB, FL STATE ATTY GEN and FL DMV and any available outlets. If anything, hope to put this person out of business or help someone else have a $500 repair bill or worse. FYI, *** isn't broke, he lives in a 1.5 million dollar home. Guess we can see how he could afford it...
